This is rad man, I'd love a tutorial!

Amazing work, my friend. I made use of it for an Alien RPG campaign.
Smokkerino 9 JUL 2024 a las 1:34
Fantastic, thank you!

How the heck did I not update that. This has been broken forever. Luckily still had local files, and now it should mostly work. The way colliders work changed since I made it, and the top doesn't go on and I'm not very interested to fix it properly - would take quite a bit of thinking and effort

I believe in you, you can do it! I will support you!!!

You know, if you detail the interior textures and redo it so you can break it up, you can probably sell this for Daz3d and Poser.
McHolty 26 SEP 2018 a las 20:21
Oh wow, that sucks. This is really well made.

I was super excited to use TTS for RPGs. Back to ol' Fantasygrounds.
Pancake is Me 26 SEP 2018 a las 2:46
RIP potential. Starfinder just came out on TTS, RIP.
GeneralChaos  [autor] 25 SEP 2018 a las 22:50
Sorry I stopped making stuff like this. My RPG group has pretty bad computers and they couldn't keep up with TTS's requirements, really killed my motivation to make stuff. :(
McHolty 25 SEP 2018 a las 20:47
Do you have any other space ships models like this?
Pancake is Me 2 JUL 2018 a las 10:08
Is working now :>
GeneralChaos  [autor] 12 JUN 2018 a las 20:51
Should be working now. Could you check and let me know Pancake (AHH! No at mentions!)
GeneralChaos  [autor] 12 JUN 2018 a las 19:53
I'm changing hosting. It should have been seemless, but of course it isn't.
Pancake is Me 12 JUN 2018 a las 8:46
It no longer works D:!
GeneralChaos  [autor] 3 ABR 2018 a las 5:40
Module is temporarily unavailable while my hosting is being poo.
Thrupert 20 ENE 2018 a las 17:08
Any chance of more of these?

With games like Fantasy Flight's Edge of the Empire and Paizo's new Starfinder game, you could make some serious cred for yourself creating scaled ships for character role-playing and the like. Great job with this!

wow

BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!!!
inkspotter 20 ENE 2016 a las 20:53
Love it. Fantastic work.
GeneralChaos  [autor] 19 ENE 2016 a las 16:25
So TTS can do 'snap together' ships with its stick parts. It's not perfect though, and I haven't extensively tested it. You pick up the bottom and the stuff resting on it comes. Could be incompatible with non-convex pieces - it worked in early testing, but not later.
You can also just lock stuff down so it doesn't get moved.

The only sci-fi stuff you'll find at the moment, I believe, are Warhammer 40k minis, and a couple from my Iron Gods minis mod. Pretty sure I've seen Darth Vader and stormtroopers too...

I'm planning on doing some for my campaign, but could take a while.

Fantastic ship design. I love it. I'm already trying to think up some rules for a simple FTL/Awful Green Things-inspired alien boarders repelling game using this map.

I do have to agree with Callimaco; there is a serious want of sci-fi/space themed content for TTS. Seems like most of the focus is on Medieval/Fantasy/D&D stuff. Nothing wrong with that, mind, but it does leave a gap in flavor.

If possible, I absolutely second the repeated calls for a modular shipbuilding system, with this map serving as an excellent prototype. I'm still rather new to TTS myself, but is there a means of snapping/locking parts together so they won't shift around independently when other bits interact with them?

Finally, can you recommend any good sci-fi figurine sets from the Workshop that would work well with this map? I've done some looking myself, but none of them really tickle my fancy.
Callimaco 17 ENE 2016 a las 23:15
This is very good. I do have to admit, that with the dearth of sci-fi theamed sets, I was diasappointed that it wasn't modular
Aknar 17 ENE 2016 a las 21:57
This is great! Please make more! The only thing to improve upon is the outside of the ship, which I find a little simplistic...
Anzelak🦑 17 ENE 2016 a las 15:20
Fantastic work mate :).
GeneralChaos  [autor] 17 ENE 2016 a las 13:04
Not sure. This was largely an experiment, and it turns out structures like this a very time intensive. This is particularly large and complicated (as far as single models go) and took me somewhere in the range of 20 hours. I probably could have created a whole set of modular pieces in the same time.

I might try some buildings. Will have to think about it.
Baryonyx 17 ENE 2016 a las 7:01
This is great work! I wonder if you could do this kind of setup with a normal building?
Vess 16 ENE 2016 a las 15:47
Awesome job man! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making this and hope to see more in the future :giveityourbest:
MadMark56 16 ENE 2016 a las 15:42
Amazing work, congrat's! This opens the door to all manner of TTS ships(Star Trek, Star Wars, even wooden Ships-of-the-Line!). I eagerly anticipate new releases, and games utilising them!
