Mission fails while generating the map. The game says that the commander had been killed

This is one of the better versions of DUWS, I cannot repair/rearm my vehicles no matter how close i am to it or an FOB, even with the option selected. Anyone get it to work?

doesn'0t work. At start say " your officer are killed" and the game finish.

Yeah, im getting a bug where the HQ commander is getting killed upon startup. got no clue on how to fix it.

how to save?

When I start up, after placing the HQ it automatically says "HQ Commander killed Mission Failed" Weird..

So Abrams that spawn in as part of allied task forces are enemies and they slaughter pretty much everything making this impossible to play. I've only encountered this bug but it was incredibly irritating.

why you guys dont end what u started and just go away ?

Oes ti work on dedicated servers ? It seems not so. Cannot choose HQ positions after missions is loaded :(

Ummm All the vehicles say Arma. Yet all the infantry are Marines??? Im in the U.S. Army so I know that dark colors are not the Army haha

so everytime the russians assault my base they bring a btr-80 which fires its grenade launchers killing the ai commander. Perhaps it would be best to have infantry only attacks and have the armor in the zones? Just a suggestion but I'm trying my best to counter that damned btr! XD

Lee 18 im sure its mods you gonna go to some website for which is bs because its so much easier just using the work shop

Yeah I had the same problem, it turns out that when the US ai commander spawns abrams at fobs, they fight for the Russian side.

Also, had a problem spawning Chris Hawkins, the other medic dude, and all other medics except the navy corpsman. They dont seem to appear and it then says that they will be available again in a random but usually long time.

For some reason when i ask for a random mission, the loading screen comes up but nothing happens i can hear the game in the background but all i see is the map of Altalis, any way to fix this or something?

Can´t position the HQ manually and when I do it randomly the HQ officer dies this instant and I loose the game... any help? I loved the older version though but can´t play it either

if you're commanding officer is killed at the staert, REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE MARINES AND RUSSIAN UNITS FROM THE WEBSITE (caps so you can find this post)

It doesnt, I just noticed that lol. Not a problem for me, my vehicles never get hurt xD Guess thats why I never noticed

I've got a question... Is there a way to truly save my game? I understand the 'Rest/Save' option but that doesn't truly save my game. Upon leaving the game in whole, my save is gone and I would like to know if I could save my progress for future play, which is needed for slow movers like myself, lol.

CO killed on start. Also cannot select manual placement of Base, "unable to get GPS Positioning" on map screen. The character must not have one equipped.

Weird one, when I call in the helicopter taxi, it arrives at the LZ but doesn't land. Just hovers there forever (meaning I can never call it again unless I TK it)

Thanks to the taxi not working, and you not allowing vehicle spawns from an FOB (only main base) everytime I leave the main base via a vehicle, if that vehicle gets destroyed, I'm stuck with walking as my only option which kind of kills the game for me.

I had that problem as well; the supports do not reinitialize when I load a saved game. It's kind of frustrating because I like this mode, but other DUWS modes do reinitialize the supports. When I load those other modes, a little window on the right says "Supports reinitialized!"

also ive loaded a saved game and ive no support now...
