This makes sense as cities would have the when making weapons and armor.
Hobbitmeister Apr 14, 2017 @ 11:46pm
Excellent mod! Just common sense to have smelter in these locations. Couldn't understand why some of these places didn't have a smelter. What?, does Alvor always run to Whiterun everytime he needs to smelt ore?!? I don't think so. ;)

This is a great mod, I'm usually 1 or 2 units of weight from being over encumbered whenever I leave the dungeon of Helgen with Ralof. I've got 3 other mods that go nicely with this one. One is to break down anything wooden into firewood, one that breaks down metal items to ingots and one that gives me exp for using the smelter

had to check back at the description for this mod after I couldn't find a smelter in dawnstar. totally forgot that there isn't one there even with the mod installed XD but I'm really glad you put smelters in the other locations at least, so thanks!
dionysus May 15, 2016 @ 11:16pm

Is the chest next to the Skyforge a safe container for long term storage???
elemental_prod Mar 27, 2015 @ 8:22am
Thanks for the mod! It has made my life easier, especially in Solitude. How many times I needed one and had to travel to find one...small mods like this make a huge impact.
Roscaria Mar 8, 2015 @ 6:04am
Any chance you could upload this to Nexus?
Kiersten Feb 24, 2015 @ 2:41pm
It seems like such a small thing, not having a smelter handy when you need one, but it's more inconvenient than we like to admit. This mod does exactly as promised, adds a smelter where they "should" be, in the places you'd expect them. It's done seamlessly and they are out of the way. I've used this mod for so long now, I honestly would have ot check a wiki to see which are the vanilla placements and which this mod placed, it works that seamlessly. Great mod, totally deserve that thumbs up!
DoctorThumbs May 25, 2014 @ 10:42am
Yeah, this one makes things a little more convenient. Good one to add.

@<3SkullMonkey<3 - Oh my pardon my assumption then lol. =)
dg Apr 27, 2014 @ 3:28am
Sir? I'm female :P. But you are right, great minds think alike....
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Apr 15, 2014 @ 1:40pm
@<3SkullMonkey<3 - because great minds think alike sir... and because I gave every nazi a headshot to the brain case on the first level of the original Medal of Honor... after said feat they dubbed me "SkullMonkey" and I've been blowin up melons ever since.
edbowlegs Apr 6, 2014 @ 4:27pm
Yummmm, so many times I go wondering about a town with a smithy carrying a backpack ful of or and looking for a smeltor and with great disapointment wondering off down the road looking for a place to smelt my ores. Thanks.
dg Apr 5, 2014 @ 3:19am
Wow! How on earth did we get a similiar name, hmm?
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Jan 29, 2014 @ 11:10am
you're welcome :)
BearMan Jan 28, 2014 @ 8:26am
I always thought that a big city like Solitude should have a smelter thankyou
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Jan 6, 2014 @ 8:17pm
@ Terry Pratchett - that's because you have 2 mods that add stuff to the skyforge.
Samantha_Vimes Jan 2, 2014 @ 9:11am
There are two tanning racks stacked next to each other at the Skyforge.
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 1:16am
@eyesonthepast - lol sorry about that. I'll fix that.
eyesonthepast Oct 18, 2013 @ 6:57pm
I am OCD and a teacher, so I apologize for complaining, but the map marker for Jorrvaskr is misspelled and it drove me nuts, so I had to uninstall. Nice idea, though.
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Sep 6, 2013 @ 4:53pm
@ Khali - ahhh yes... I should probably fix that shouldn't I? I think I fixed it on my local copy but didn't upload it. I'll see if I can remedy that.
Khali Sep 5, 2013 @ 12:30am
I just noticed something after all this time. The Tanning rack at the Skyforge is facing the wrong way. I normally don't use the Tanning rack at the Skyforge but I was short some leather the other day. Went to make some leather and strips and ended up on the back side of the Tanning rack. Just a FYI, it works fine as is but thought I would mention it.

@ Karel & Raphou - it doesn't matter if you have any graphic mods, it can be scripts, object assets, meshes, adding more objects to a scene etc. 90+ mods can easily tip the 3.1 gig memory limit.
ElderGamer1 Aug 29, 2013 @ 4:12pm
Just back from a long recess, Lol and your in my first must have downloads! Thanks again!
Karel Aug 18, 2013 @ 5:04pm
Hey, I have no prob without your mod (I'm using another that do almost the same, but less elegantly). And I've got 0 (none!) graphic mod, just to be clear ^^
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Aug 17, 2013 @ 7:44pm
@Karel & Raphou - Actually you are most likely experiencing the 3.1 gig memory limit. Try disabling any mods you don't need and reduce your texture mods from 4k or 2k to 1k. That will help you avoid CTDs. Also you could look into ENBoost if you have a high end graphic card that has a lot of memory.

@ ElderGamer1 - Glad I could oblidge ;)

@mrd.relish - So did I Relish... so did I...

@ Khali - Exactly!

@ That one guy - yeah! screw that noise!

@ Strange fruit - bingo

@ DamnitDave33 - Dammit Dave! It's more than handy it's amazing! jk I had to say something that incorporated your name ;P

@ - Emraj007 - you're welcome
Karel Aug 16, 2013 @ 12:06pm
Sadly this mod seems to give me occasionnal (quite often, in fact) CTDs. Must be incomptaible with one of my 90+ other mods. I need to use one of the "more smelters" one, not to CTD. But great mod!
ElderGamer1 Apr 26, 2013 @ 10:49am
Good News..I'd rather 1 Mod for the missing smelters...I forgot Riverwood and Skyforge did not have 1...Thanks a Bunch!
mrd.relish Apr 17, 2013 @ 8:03am
This mod rocks. I always hated that you couldn't find one in all the places were there is a blacksmith. So much better.
Khali Apr 10, 2013 @ 7:57pm
Great mod!!! Real time saver, no more running around to find a smelter any more.
Trigus [ALT] Mar 29, 2013 @ 9:58pm
Thank you so much for this. I was sick to death of running between Adrianne's forge and the Skyforge.
Seenix Mar 28, 2013 @ 1:55am
Good idea, saves all that tedious running back and forth.
damnitdave33 Feb 3, 2013 @ 4:29am
Very handy indeed! Thanx!
Jay Dec 13, 2012 @ 9:30am
Thanks a lot!!!

@ ==Lusk== - Who's your favorite mod Author? Guess who added a smeltor to Morthal for you? *points to self* THIS GUY! lol. Just wanted to let you know that I updated that for you. There is now a smithy attached to the guard barraks... No blacksmith yet. We'll just pretend for now that the guards do all of their own armory work.
Dragoler Nov 30, 2012 @ 10:47am
Oh awsome, in which case, i have no excuse anymore :P
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Nov 29, 2012 @ 6:49pm
@ Dragoler - this mod also adds the rest of the crafting stations to the skyforge ;)
Dragoler Nov 29, 2012 @ 10:00am
I need this mod! But already use a mod that adds this and the other crafting stations to the skyforge >.<. Anyway, its great that someone did this ty.
Terrus Vanguard Nov 23, 2012 @ 3:09pm
Yes! thank you so much for this it always seemed strange with so many smiths with only half the gear they needed. well done :)
Lusk Nov 20, 2012 @ 1:36pm
Thanks. Look forward to the update.
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Nov 19, 2012 @ 12:14pm
@ Lusk - LOL I'll look into adding a smeltor to morthal... dirty little swamp town.
Lusk Nov 16, 2012 @ 10:47pm
Like the mod lots. Just one question though. Why doesn't Morthal get a smelter and Whiterun now has 2? It seems Morthal always gets the raw end of the deal. Poor, poor Morthal :D
Calibrated Aug 15, 2012 @ 9:48am
lots of smelters
Sku11M0nkey  [author] Jun 10, 2012 @ 2:13am
you are correct sir...
AverageBandit Jun 10, 2012 @ 2:13am

Sku11M0nkey  [author] May 20, 2012 @ 8:43pm
Hi Killy, Yes you may but you must credit and have a link back to the original mod.
