Nah, I don't have enough the willingness to do so, as maintaining two versions is enough work. However, if you remove all the event files for each religion, you'll effectively have that. Should a name format of '(nonreligion) events'.

It's already updated for 1.29. It should work without major issues if installed correctly. If it doesn't work as intended I recommend using the direct link first as that usually fixes the issue.

ET adds a ton of religions and changes things related to them. That requires editing the base game religion files. This mod does the same thing. There isn't a way around it unless someone makes a mod combining the two.

If you know why, what is causing the incompatibility? The playthrough that I was doing required Extended Timeline because it was happening around the barbarian invasions into the Roman Empire.

I don't know if it's just me, or the mod has issues with one of the mods I have installed (maybe ET?), but I can't change to any of the religions. I wanted to change to secular so I didn't have so many issues with religions revolting.

type "event 9989" into the console. That should pop an event up that will allow you to become deist. Sorry for the frustration. I recommend reinstalling the mod to fix any problems or trying the direct link.

Go to the religion tab, click the convert religion button on the top left, make sure the game is paused and scroll down to the bottom. Deism should be there. Press the covert to Deism button once you see it.

I have a graphical problems:
Decicions tab is a purple square with a yellow warning sign.
Trade goods are shifted to the left (province and map mode).
If you selected a province the same sign as the dicisions tab is visible by the trade goods.

I have all expansions except rule britannia.
A fix is appreciated.

Nope. Extended Time edits the same files as this mod by for more than just religions, so this mod can't work with Extended Timeline unless it was made into another mod entirely just for Extended Timeline.

Is there any chance of making some sort of addon or patch that could enable this mod with the "Extended Timeline" Mod? This is mostly based on a desire to have an early secular humanist nation face off against the rising chalcedonian religion :)

Can you add "non-religious ideas" idea group? Its funny when agnostics/deists/etc can still declare Deus Vult Holy War.

It wouldn't be alternate history at that point, but if you want it to do that here's how. Go into the event files and in the trigger section, remove the 'continent = europe' line in capital_scope and remove the OR = clause with all the religions. That should make them happen anywhere.
