you could still continue your old game but it would not update the old game to 2.3

yes top 3 ranked leagues are english prem, championship and serie a. top 3 estimated value are barcelona, swindon and leyton orient lol. ive unlocked the english premiership so i can play it now 10 seasons in ans swindon have £100m+ to spend so do bradford. not a bad thing tho as it does open up more playing options.

hmm that sounds weird. i'm 8 seasons in on my current game and have not seen that. it could perhaps be that if the english teams are doing well in the champions league that the game is increasing their reputation. that doesn't explain why the FWP would fall to 31st though. is it now below other world league divisions? how about individual teams. are swindon above man city e.g.?

hi really good mod just 1 problem im in my 10th season and the club and league reputations seem to be out of control. Fifa world premiership is the 31st ranked competition and hard to attract top players and english premiership is 1st. Now i have teams like swindon buying my players for £80m i just wondered if there was a fix for this?

Thanks, da_gopsta, that's a good point. I had initially thought it just added some variety and challenge but really it's not ideal. I don't think there's an easy way to do what you suggest but I'll look into it. Thanks for the kind words

I was surprised to find out about the foreign limit rule when I started my save with CS Universititae Craiova, but having played for a few months, I think it's a good idea. Only slight issue I have with it is that some countries take longer to gain eligibility than others, and some countries can't get eligibility at all, it seems. Feel this gives teams from some countries a slight advantage over others. Is there any quicker way of aligining the eligibility criteria across all nations, so that they're the same, instead of changing them all one by one in the editor? Amazing database, by the way!

That's a rule for all teams, not just Portuguese. It's to make sure teams keep their national identities and don't end up all as mixtures of Spanish, English, Italians, etc.

I got a thing to say if you play with the portuguese Teams like FC Porto you re only able to put 7 foregn players, why? It should been European players not natinal players is that a bug or on porpuse?

I've released an updated version with new prize money structure. See what you think. This is probably the last update for this year's FM unless there are major bugs. I've holidayed until 2027 and finances seem okay. A couple of teams have 100 million but that's to be expected. Some top teams are in debt but also I think that's realistic.

i'll play around with it and see what happens. data on how teams are doing would be helpful if you have it. in a previous version of this year's db i had higher prize monies but teams ended up with too much.

his way of handling the economy of the leages was perfect
all teams were on even grounds and the prize money was really worth the play time
and if u win all the competions rewards that would sum up to a total of 68 m dollars in rewards
without the transfer deals
it would give a huge freedom in the market
and i actully saw big teams like barcelona and real madrid struggle in there

will u can make two soulotions
either give every team a 30 m to 45 m in dollars yearly to cover travel costs
or raise the rewards

i mean 20 million for the premeir league is too low
i want the reward that fits the struggle am going through in the leagus
i was disppointed when i won div 3 in the first pos and only got rewarded a lousy 12 m that can barley cover my win bounus for the team and 20 % of salary
when my team reach the premier league
they will want higher salaries and more money to buy players to go head to head with those soccer gaints
i love your mod man just if u can work on the money aspect of it u do us all a faver and give us a push to keep playing it

@mr.playa199: it's hard to get the balance right. make rewards too high and you have 10 teams at the top with billions of euros. if you can give me figures on team finances and how many years you have played that can be helpful. i might be able to work on an update

why the rewards in this are so low ?
i mean am in my third year and am struggling with my economy playing as celta and i have won two leages
i can t sell my players for a high sum cause no one intersted
and the prize money does not help me with the money to buy players to improve the team for harder leages ?

@GR Choke: It doesn't work perfectly. I can't change the co-efficients that determine who gets into the CL.

@Quentin: Yeah, it's possible. I think it will be for the 2017 version though as, if I get time to release an update to this version, I'll focus on trying to fix the CL issue, finances, and some other things ppl have mentioned.

@GR Choke: That's how it's supposed to be. The CL is for non-World League teams. The World League has its own cup comps.

gaetan_airlines: Thanks! I can't remember but will check. If it's changed it will be according to the league and not for each country. However, I'm pretty sure your newgens will have lower potential as the game takes into account the nation's standing when calculating newgens (so you don't get 10 wonderkids from Tuvalu, for example)

hey man this is a great mod, I've really been enjoying it. Just one question though, did you edit the youth potential for each country or did you leave that the same? I'm currently managing a team from St Lucia and I'd like to know if my youth players have significantly less potential than regens from brazilian or german clubs. again, great mod! :)

@afilmforthefuture again great job with database!! (i have mentioned it further down the thread but its so good had to say it twice!) i restarted my save with Ajax and added a world champions cup competition (think champions league) used last years version as a guide and itr works quite well, fixture conjestion does happen alittle but the game is still fun. Also increased prize money etc no adverse affects so far though the bigger clubs will still have the advantage revenue wise i can catch up. Hope you do a DB for next years FM as its the best out there, plus after addding the new competition to your DB i can appreciate the work you put in. Well done.

@vito.diprima: maybe put a request in the SI forum thread for a version of the file without foreign rules. or perhaps someone reading this can do it? i might try and put together an update and a version without foreigner rules but it'll be a while (not before april at the earliest)

@DarnHillForLife: i don't know the details of those specific players but players can become local if they stay in a country for a period of time. maybe nasri has been around long enough to get a 2nd nationality?

it shows some of the players as foreign and some not even though they are from the same country?!?! e.g samir nasri isnt foreign but mangala is?
