As of 2023, the stats as they (don't) appear in-game are a bit wonky, but for the most part it works. The building's stats in the construction menu still display, and the building in fact provides for the city's water system. Clicking a built unit in a city will show it as producing nothing, however.

'Still use it to this day however, regardless of the quirk. It's a slick piece that fills the needs for smaller towns. I could def use more services with the same look and same sorta niche.

-------- WARNING ---------

This asset has a dated mechanism from an older asset of Water Tower. Now that the game has changed water production method this asset may not work correctly.

Please do not use if you encounter the problem.

I cannot fix this so please move on. But I do plan to make more water production assets. See you soon.

I am experiencing that after a certain amount of population and even away from polluted ground, the water starts having like1 to 3% of pollution. Any idea why this might be happening?
smioreun Jan 18, 2021 @ 3:43pm
Now that I think of it a bit... maybe it is that the waste, and the water are in the same asset... therefore the game thinks of it as them being to close... etc"
smioreun Jan 18, 2021 @ 3:32pm
Likewise... I am not sure if it IS this asset... but over 100k Population I get little brown spots of pollution all OVER my map... and the citizens start dying and getting sick :-(

If the budget is less than 100%, the sewage treatment function will fail
刀塔榨汁机 Oct 28, 2020 @ 10:36pm
It can work if the municipal budget is greater than 100%
ernie_gurney Oct 28, 2020 @ 7:53am
Showing operating normally but 0 pumping capacity leaving no clean water
minaf1 Sep 16, 2020 @ 2:04am
Doesn't seem to work
Joranous Aug 19, 2020 @ 5:28am
seems like it only provides water now?
Sky Wildfire May 8, 2020 @ 2:22pm
it was a great asset for some reason it doesnt work anymore.
holbs Mar 29, 2020 @ 9:53pm
Greatest lil' asset I have. Thank you!!
Firefly Banner Mar 26, 2020 @ 10:46am
I love this - I use it as my default for water/sewage processing.

Thank you.
Dingbat32 Mar 12, 2020 @ 1:56am
I like the idea of this, but the fact that it produces water no matter how much sewage it gets is gamebreaking.
刀塔榨汁机 Jan 8, 2020 @ 5:16pm
Hello, when the budget is reduced below 100%, sewage treatment will fail

You the man Quad. Thanks for your awesome work.
Quad Rioters  [author] Dec 15, 2018 @ 9:17am
I tested it there is no such problems though... For the sewage part, it might be some fix CO made overtimes and affecting this asset. I suggest you build other water source and drains along as well.
Abelisaurus Dec 15, 2018 @ 5:09am
Using Mod "Remove Need for Pipes" this water purefier doesn't work @ Nite..any fix for this?

Hi looking to buy the mesh file, if you want to sell it can you please upload to sketchfab?
Anteros Mar 20, 2018 @ 1:23am
Best thing in the game!
Maiken Jan 20, 2018 @ 1:07pm
I love the look of the object. However, it does give me some issues if I adjust the water budget. As soon as it gets lower than 100%, the sewage function stops working. Is there a way around this?
orbops Nov 18, 2017 @ 10:31am
I've noticed that the flow rate always shows up as zero, but it is working because if you open the Water Status icon first, and then plop down the purifier, you'll see the water and sewage percentages go up.
TechiCat Nov 14, 2017 @ 1:17pm
So why do my purifiers never seem to be operating???
nylki Oct 19, 2017 @ 11:50am
I love your assets!
But some of your service buildings make the city building a tiny bit too easy for my taste. I kind of enjoy thinking about how to best manage waste water. The Water Purifier makes this game mechanic completely obsolete. Thats why I disabled it, but kept most other assets from your Mass Renewal pack on :)

Maybe the water purifier could have some other disadvantage to compensate for that, perhaps drastically increase energy usage and noise eg.?
I can see the usefulness though, if you want to build a futuristic city that is technologically so advanced that waste water is no issue any more.

Anyways, thanks for your work in general! :)
牧笛悠悠 Aug 29, 2017 @ 10:19pm
The name of the Purifer in your asset name is not a letter I, it should be Purifier
Chenchemarin Aug 18, 2017 @ 10:13am
Not working for me as well, I have mods only that adds vehicles and what is connected to water is just big water pumping station, nothing else, also tried reconnecting the pipes, even remove pipes, purifier, restart, build purifier and connect.
Claudius Aetius Jul 19, 2017 @ 7:37am
Sorry, it is not working. Perhaps you need some basic guidelines about how install it in a city.
Putzilla Jul 16, 2017 @ 3:50pm
Ah, that may be it. Thank you. by the way your buildings are awesome, I have most of the new updated ones subscribed.
Quad Rioters  [author] Jul 14, 2017 @ 5:12am
There is a little bug that the asset will not work at all if it is built on the existing pipeline from the beginning. Therefore, you are required to connect the new pipe into a newly built Purifier.
Putzilla Jul 14, 2017 @ 4:59am
You are right, it is working. Hmmmm
Putzilla Jul 14, 2017 @ 3:57am
That is bizaro. On a new city it was working. Suddenly sewage was backing up and it wasn't working. Unsubscribed and resubscribed and it still didn't work. plopped it in another city and it says it isn't working, but it does add to sewage and water capacity. I will keep testing it.
Quad Rioters  [author] Jul 13, 2017 @ 8:31pm
It works fine for me though.
Try rebuilding and "reconnecting the pipe if it was connected, bulldoze and connect it again".
Putzilla Jul 13, 2017 @ 7:18pm
Mine is no longer working. Just stopped an hour ago. tried resubscribing and it just no longer functions for sewage.
Quad Rioters  [author] May 22, 2017 @ 1:12am
It works perfectly fine.
BjarneNilsson May 21, 2017 @ 3:15pm
Does this work with the latest patch (the one thaytcame out with mass transit dlc)?
ScythianBeastie Mar 12, 2017 @ 8:20am
This is glorious. Thank you!! :D
220hertz Jan 12, 2017 @ 11:04pm
Hey Quad, have you ever heard anything like this pump sucking an entire lake dry? I use it pretty frequently, as a rotary fixture and such, and I'm trying to help a fellow map-maker troubleshoot. I'm experiencing some ...dryness in one of my cities.
benutzung Dec 19, 2016 @ 4:43am
Fetter Daumen hoch !!!!! Keine Wasserprobleme mehr past überall hin und leuchtet auch noch schön. Keine Straße nötig aber, logo ohne Strom geht nix. Was will mann mehr?
Roytulin Mar 26, 2016 @ 9:20am
Hm, this is probably due to one of my mods not liking the most recent bug fixing update... but I get the same error messages while trying to build things such as roads, pipes and power lines... Something to do with 'checkCollidingBuildings' or something like that :o
Quad Rioters  [author] Mar 17, 2016 @ 8:20am
@orbops - Noted, thank you. It was like that since the Snowfall DLC. As long as it does not cause any bugs or errors, I won't fix it yet.
orbops Mar 16, 2016 @ 9:50pm
After upgrading the After Dark DLC, this building shows up as a separate tab to the right within the water/sewage option. The label that shows up is MAIN_CATEGORY[Default]:0.
Quad Rioters  [author] Feb 12, 2016 @ 3:02am
I actually never get its budget to be lower than 100% so I wasn't aware of the problem.
Thank you, I will look into it, although not sure if I could fix it.

Perhaps, it is because it provides both water/sewage treatment instead of one each like the vanilla, thus conflicting its capability.
GeekWere Feb 11, 2016 @ 4:54pm
Yup! I have this bug too. Any adjustment to the water budget and all the water shuts off. High tech but low flexibility?
Kor Feb 11, 2016 @ 11:41am
Update: Seems like the 0 pumping capacity is somehow caused by the budget. When i first placed this down my budget was at 75% and the building did nothing, when i changed the slider to 100% budget it started working. Once working the slider can be changed back to what it was but, atleast for me, i could only do it slowing in increments of about 5%, any more then that and sewage would stop working.
Kor Feb 11, 2016 @ 8:05am
Doesnt seem to work unless another water source is attached to the system i.e water tower. Once that is done the pipes light up and it starts to work.
Timeweise Jan 25, 2016 @ 9:24pm
Why was this updated? Can't see waterpipes now... not sure that is related to this but strange coincidence.
