Have you a list of which sound files correspond at what sound; for as you mentioned, the sound files are named like 00002a00? And it's tedious to find certain sounds by trial and error and trying every single file until you get the right one.

You can use this with the extended spawnmenu, although the sound file names WILL be stuff like "00002a00" and such.
Pretty sure someone found that out before me, but i just wanted to get it off of my chest
