How about you take a few minutes and update it?
If you don't want to be bothered by it, you could post how we can update it ourselves.

Why can't the developers just fucking implement this feature themselves? Children have always looked boring as hell, until this mod was made back in October. It should be a part of vanilla.
WARNING though for anyone that's use it. It includes a defins.lua file that will clobber whatever other mods might be attempting to set specific values, not to mention superseding the vanilla define.lua file that you may not want. I ended up just creating it's own mod lua that included the TWO lines that appear to actually have anything to do with this mod (referencing age at which to start using adult portraits. This mod requires it to be set to 0).
Also, there is a bug in with the norse females headgear. I don't recall which gfx file now but it was specifying 18 version versus 12 like it should have so the offset is wrong (hence why the hats are floating off in space and not on her head).
Beyond that, it appears to work as it should.
