Moneybags McJerryson Junior it's the normal map texture, or a similar sort of texture (like a bump map, though I'd presume it's a normal map). Source uses normal maps to add depth to textures by simulation lighting, as for editing your normal map to fit the updated texture, I'd recommend you find a good online converter, as I don't know how to make normal maps normally, and from what i've heard, it isn't easy

ive edited a texture for the tile one so its just one tile but when i shine light on it it becomes loads of tiles again im guessing this is something to do with the extra textures

You should make a Wall_Ground one. You all both "Floor" and "Ground" textures in the wall_floor one and there is a difference between the ground and the floor. That way all the "Indoor" floors are separated from the "Outdoor" ground tiles

As good as this is, I gotta be honest: The fact that the preview images and in-game skin numbers don't match up? A real pain in the neck at first.

(For example: The Small Blue Tiles seen in wall_tile seen in Row 3, Panel 1 is actually Skin 01 in SFM)

how do you shrink the texture floor on say the floors with tiles on them. to get a natural look. is the only way to spawn a bunch of floor tiles and shrink them?

For people who are wondering how to change the skin, after you add in the wall as a new animation set, you right click the wall and there's something that should say set skin. after hovering your mouse over it, the skins will appear!

I hate how the Translation Tool is screwed up for these. You can't move the root transform without it moving slightly diagnol. please prperly center the Translation Tool's axis.

May I suggest flexes for these panels so you can shrink or grow these panels without using the root transform?

Just wondering, are these paintable via using add override materials > add attribute > color?
