@Dumpster boy because this tool is all of those commands but in one place. No need to remember console commands to edit the mesh or change settings. Just press a button in a UI

how do i exit this mode the tool puts you in

the mode im talking about is where it shows all the squares and parts and stuff and i dont want to edit it, i accidently pressed a button and it appered while i was messing with hoverboards, how do i escape this

I'm on the x64 bit version, and I deleted the ladders using the delete function with the tool.

The ones created using this tool. I've caused it to crash twice by simply creating a ladder, and then deleting it.

Can you elaborate? Which ladders are you deleting? The ones you created via this tool, or the ones that came with the map? What version of the game are you using? How exactly are you deleting ladders?

Sadly that is just how those maps were made. As far as I am aware the only way to fix it is if you were to manually edit the map and rotate it to align with the world axis.

i think you're not gonna reply to this but... Can i SOMEHOW rotate navmesh, like on cs_compound for some reason all nav meshes im creating is diagnal, with auto generation im having the same thing

after downloading this mod, i have permanent godmode on and i cant get it off, i turned off god mode on the server, even changed the playerhurtplayer .. nothing is fixing it, help ? :L

Climbing ladders is a feature but you need an NPC that can do it. If you want to learn how to make ladders look at the dev wiki... Just remember that you need an NPC that can actually do it (CS:S bots)

i dont think birds use navmesh, and even if they did it probably only would be possible to create them in the hammer editor

This is so awesome, created a navi for a map that didn't come with one in like 2 seconds. Didn't need to work at all for a satisfactory result, it was like 3 clicks!. 10/10

@Mister Pivot I haven't had the double navmesh issue before to fix it you can probably type the command "Nav_edit 0" I believe this should fix both issues that you had. Though an easier way to fix the first one is to equip the navmesh tool again and unequip it to fix the UI still being loaded.

It looks like there are now two instances of the navmesh tool trying to display on top of eachother suddenly. this happened after I left a map and joined a different one, with the navmesh tool having been the last tool selected.

The navmesh tool still seems to be displaying the navmesh itself and the tool's unique cursor despite the fact that I'm not holding the toolgun or I'm using a different tool. It also looks like I am not the only one with this problem.

maybe helpful tip: dont place the walk navmesh near the wall cuz sometime the nextbot would or would not walk to the wall.

simple way to say this is: if you place it next to the wall, nextbot will headbutt the wall

Nav saving worked except for the missing stair attributes I keep having to replace. It won't save them no matter what, and a lot of stair attributes are missing. Everything else saved but certain stairs in general.

Anyone got tips on this?

remove nav from addon dir, it overwrites ones in maps/
