alrighty i need help from the community here and this is urgent to the games launching and ive tried steam support and nothing they send my way works.

alright i downloaded the mods through the nexus (mods in the description btw) and i had to do it manually now that i used the program that they suggested my skyrim no longer starts i need help and pls be specific

@ Simply Skull - Yes, the reason the armor model in the show case images are displayed as they are is because this is how the mod is originally intended to be. The reason that follower mod itself does not include the armor model in the mod show case is because it was created by another modder. (ie Recommended mods)

Or in other words if I were to include another modder's armor model in the the current mod file without having permission form that modder, Id be taking credit for a mod that is not my own. The "Recommended mods" section in the description is to have this mod be seen in its original intent. But it also gives credit where credit is due by providing links.

Do you need a mod to display the armour shown in the pictures? The one she wears in my game looks completely different as it is.

i found her file but nothing happens when i press ctrl f4 idk if i did something wrong but idk cause im terrible with computers...

@ TheSexyBadDragon - I STRONGLY recommend you try for the manual fix, this type of bug tends to be specific to an individuals game. The manual fix is a lot less complex than it sounds. Its more or less a matter of opening up the Creation kit, finding the mod NPC, pressing Ctrl + F4, saving it and you're done. (Its a permanent fix.)

Its also possible you may have multiple body texture mods interfering with one another so, Id double check that as well.

ok i really dont know how to fix it myself but she started doing it again in the middle of a quest she went from the normal to that dark face thing again plz help

@ TheSexyBadDragon - It sounds like you may be experiencing the dark face bug. Its a very common bug that happens with mod NPCs. I'v updated the the mod plugin so this should happen less often. Be sure that your steam cloud is active so that the mod may auto update when you next launch the game.

If you're still having troubles, I will post a guide to how you can manually fix this problem in the mod change notes. :)

idk if this is a known bug but she sometimes had a different skin color in face than rest of body... anybody know a fix if they encountered this

@ Darth Codie - Done and done!

@ Jaderive - Two reasons.

The biggest one being that the game has dialogue scripts attached to specific voice types. Or in other words, the game will only register a follower as a follower with vanilla follower voices. This can be bypassed by creating a custom dialogue script for non-follower voice types but, its really really buggy. It generally crates a problem where the game can't tell if its a follower NPC or a normal NPC. At that point, your follower can get stuck in this weird limbo in between the two.
There is a mod called "Lets be friends" that is based off that idea but, again they will occasionally fall into a limbo. :\

The second reason is because most people don't like the default female argonian voice. (myself included). The whole old lady smoker voice just isn't very... appealing... to a large majority lol.

@Sahrotlotkendov - She uses a default vanilla Dark Elf voice type.

@ SkullEnder - I'm currently looking for the source of that bug and working on a fix for it. I'll add it to the list of known glitches. As of now, the best way to avoid this glitch seems to be exiting Whiterun and re-entering the city before making your way to the temple.

(Especially so if you have installed the mod with an existing save while inside of Whiterun)

If loading up the game with and existing save in Whiterun do the following:
Install mod > load up save game > Exit Whiterun > re-enter > make your way to the temple.
