Why aren't they using this mod I mean if I were them I would despite the version which I think the legendary edition of Skyrim is the 32 bit one especially if it finely came over from Nexus or was coped onto the workshop from said site unless Touring carriages doesn't work with other mods installed and actually speaking of making changes or adding things to any game how does modifying it work because I found out yesterday one of that of them I tried to use doesn't work on LE yesterday.

This version works on the original 32-bit release and on the LE release. It has had tens of thousands of users over many years. Not many folks are using it anymore.

SE was a free 64-bit upgrade, but requires some of these objects to be updated. The version for SE is found at the bethesda.net and nexusmods.com sites. There have been many improvements over the years.

SE 1.6 for AE was yet another free update. No changes were needed. Touring works well with survival mode.

Dunno what i'd do without this mod.. very rare any errors occurs and its a BOON for being over encumbered near cities with no merchants. Just go in an inn for a rest after you rough mission and when you awake there will be cabbies outside like a real inn ready to take you where you need.. for a small fee ofcourse.. totally Lore Friendly this is a Gem!

LE has a lot of engine bugs. I'd helped document 88+ of them. Some of those bugs are fixed in SE (although most are not). Memory utilization is notably bad in 32-bit LE. SE is somewhat better. Touring is particularly hard on memory constraints, as cell after cell is loaded.

@DayDreamer i'm just here to refer to the old question you asked here, "Why are you still running old Skyrim?" There is still plenty of people playing LE all right and i am genuinely confused with your tone as if it was some broken first version no one even considers playing at this time anymore. of course SE is more up to date and more friendly to regular player but LE symphatizers are not uncommon at all.

I'd assumed that you'd read the Description. If this is the first mod you downloaded, then you tried this before the Unofficial Patches. You need to run the Unofficial Patches. There are plenty of bug fixes. I've never tested this without the Unofficial Patches.

Moreover, I've made a lot of improvements for SE. Not many folks running this version anymore.

LadyArithia, you must have a conflicting plugin. I've never had a problem there. In fact, as you are a friend of bandits (while riding the carriage), the bandits won't stop you.

Only problem I've had with this is the fact that it ALWAYS gets stuck where the bandit stops you on your way to riften from whiterun in newer saves .-.

hustler, that is not normal. Indeed, in 1st person the view turning radius is restricted, but the same as the opening ride (you cannot turn around). In 3rd person, you can circle around the whole shebang; leave it alone and it will start circling on its own.

Is it normal that I can't turn the camera while in first person? I have enhanced camera in my load order so I don't know if that affects this mod. Even while in third person I couldn't turn the camera all the way. I was only able to talk to the driver because the carriage hit a bump in the road and the camera moved just enough so I could talk to him.

when traveling to riften, theres a spot where the horse will just walk back and forth and I couldn't leave the seat so i had to completely shut down my game

Ulysses, what broke is you recently added another plugin interfering with Bjorlam; more particularly his carriage seat. So you get a warning message that he's not going to work anymore.

Use TES5Edit, then put that number into the form field (upper left corner), and you will learn what is interfering.

The mod was working great until just recently. I got this script that stated "Bjorlam is missing his [touringcartdoppelgangerscript <(001070f1)>] Touring Carriage Doppelganger! So, what broke?, I have no other conflicting mods that changes carriages or horses or even the stables in anyway. I deleted the mod and resubbed and its still giving me the same message as above. Any thoughts DayDreamer?

So this is made for SE and not Legendary? It does fast travel when I try to use the carriage. Completely destroying my reason for installing the mod.

This is not the proper forum for discussion of follower frameworks. If you play the game with carriages, things will become more clear.

I'm not sure why you're still playing old Skyrim. Everything works better on SE.

I just now looked it up on my phone because I am not really a techy person when it comes to game engines or how anything technical related works but before I try it out can you elaborate on what you meant by followers that uses the standard framework for me like could you give me an example again because I think I understand what it is DayDream?

If you have 3 NPC followers (that use the standard framework), then it will carry them. It will not carry animals, as they lack the riding animation. If you play the game with carriages, things will become more clear.

Now what exactly do mean it can carry up too 3 follwers because to the best of my knowledge the game unfortunately only lets you have one companion at a time no metter the Hold you didn't get your helper in or when you said that did you mean what i'am hoping you meant in-otherwords were you referring to as people call it the vanilla followers like Lydia or added NPC's that don't come aready in the game Special Edition or not DayDream?

Yes, it can carry up to 3 followers. It is possible to have multiple followers in various parts of the game, and there are plenty of follower extentions as well.

The most important thing is Unofficial Patches. Carriages don't require it, but it's a waste of time playing without them.

No bra you must have assumed i'am from a different contry becaus i'am guessing most people on Steam are none understandable depending where your from no my native language put it is and has o-ways been English but rather I be from the US or not I was just asking if you knew about how games engines work because I nevr heard or used this mod when playing Skyrim before until I watched someones video review/explanation on it I mean I still yet to download this mod as i'am sure i'll like it a again but what do think you is the a cool mod and also do you actually get 3 followers included with this mod or am I miss understand that middle part about how many people can ride with you?

No, I cannot really explain how the game engine works. And the Special Edition game engine works even better!

If English isn't your native language, both LE and SE have quite a few translations available.

Then from what I mostly tried to read in the description meaning I wasn't that good in English class and hated it because of some of the shuff they were teaching i'am thinking might-of been the reason it sounds like this mod will work again because I have the legendary with all three DLC's installed and also with SKSE now download to the game like I thought it would cool beens if so but i'am still a little curious bra bassed off of real carriages and that other one or not may I ask what does it mean the mod immunity restores the cart back to the default fast travel black smoky screen after arriving at one of the 9 holds or can't really explain how Skyrim's engne works?

This version is for Legendary Edition, although it should work for folks without all the DLC.

So their intention were to put moving carriages between the hold into the game by default but like you said Bethesda ran out of time I mean was this attended tobe in the remastered edition of Skyrim also or just the legendary one and why would I actually use real carriages if that mod has some bugs in it if i'am right again I mean can't I just use this one if I want any mods at all to ensure it doesn't break my game author?

This is all based upon vanilla content. However, Bethesda seems to have run out of time to finish implementing. Instead, they replaced this with fixed position carriages that trigger fast travel.

However, the developer was kind enough to post Real Carriages here as one of the first hosted files showing what they'd intended. It doesn't work properly, but provided a basis for understanding all the complexity of what needed to be done.

When you have installed this and request a ride, the static cart is disabled, and a moving carriage carries you along a path between holds and settlements. After you arrive at a major hold (or get off and leave the area), the moving carriage is replaced by the static cart.

Because it is vanilla content, sometimes other plugins will override part of this. There are usually warning messages. But other times plugins will change the road or put in new buildings. Those kinds of things can also stop the carriage.

This maybe a dumb question as I feel like ever-buddy has tried this or any mod for any game including The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim from watching video clips on YouTube but can either you or someone explain how this mod works like what does it mean by it restores the carriages back to their default after arriving to a hold big or small and also if I install this mod will it effect any other mod I already have installed or decide to download to the game?

Your graphics card is so overloaded that the game engine told the cart and driver (and the whole cell it is in) to detach itself. Needless to say, this causes all kinds of problems. Best to exit the game to desktop, and restart from the save that you made just before taking the ride. Because you make regular saves, didn't you?

Not supported withOUT unnofficial patches. Although the unofficial patches for oldrim are not being updated anymore. I'm thinking about backporting some here.

Talk to the driver. There should be a number of stopping options.

Real Carriages drove off cliffs. Touring Carriages should not. Of course, you may be using another conflicting plugin that changed the roads.

Please pay attention to the loading message boxes. Those warnings tell you exactly where and what is broken, so that you can enter it into TES5Edit to find your conflicts. There's nothing what-so-ever that can be done for you here.
