BEAT BACK THE KOLECHIAN EXTREMIST FACISTS!
WE WILL BEAT BACK THE KOLECHIAN FASCISTS
not very realistic for a collective based society. The USSR consistently outproduced the USA up until they began to reform their society towards western ideals, which is when their production began to slip, and their society unraveled.
Our playests showed that if you played a specific way, it is possible to out-economy or out-produce the negatives that you get for having to sustain a military in order to fulfil the trait. (an industry-heavy virtue playthrough actually had +60/ept or so within 70 or so turns of starting the game!) The goal of requiring the military units was to try and force the player to compensate for that, or fail to become a wide or conquering civilization.
For the most part, (mostly based on the fanfic lore we came up with), the leader of arstotzka was tasked with essentially the promised land victory, which hinders their ability to be fully suited for a conquest victory.
Have you tried the civ out in game yet? I'd like to know if your thoughts are based on theory or practice. If you have, can you tell me how your game went? :)
Also, per the lore of this civ, they're not actually defending, but rather assisting as secondary workers to the city. :) You're more than welcome to fortify them to recieve defensive bonuses.
lol
