Would you be okay if I modified the mod to replace another nation, just for playing with my friends? I was going to replace the Mayan's with the Canadian's, so me and a friend could put canada and russia together.

By replace russia (in the description.) does that mean if I were to get this mod, you couldnt play as russia? Sorry if that's a stupid question, wanted to confirm

kittyhawk as a modern age fighter/bomber (these US fighters flown by Australians kept New Guinea out of Japanese hands).
maybe a unique naval unit for info age...since we're an island and advanced patrol craft and light cruisers protect our naval borders.
Dunno...I can write massive articles about aussie combat effectiveness in Vietnam vs US troops or our contributions in North Africa and the Pacific during WW2 but it's hard to translate that into a playable nation for RoN

@kaiser_mobius yeah not sure about stats for the nation but unique units could be:-
diggers for industrial or modern age...very accurate (most of the AIF troops from early 20th century were rabbit hunters) and resilient (aussie troops are known for holding against impossible odds...think Tobruk)
SAS for info age...not sure if that would replace assault infantry or scouts...technically they are special forces and stealthed
maybe a bren carrier as a unique modern vehicle (it's british but so is your canadian lancaster bomber)

@stormphoenix1980: maybe, but I am not sure what units I could use to make the Australian units that I want to make, I would like to try to make one for them though.

Despite all the joke about canada, i'm american by the way, canada has a small army of almost 90,000 men, But they are all elites, not to mention america shares canada's only border so canada does rely on us for help from time to time. just a little FYI, eh? >:D

This mod isn't working for me, seriously I've tried playing it but it still recognises me as the russians in quick battle.

PS: there were mods with these two countries for te old version of the game but they dont seem to work for this version

I'd like to put it in my game atleast. I don't have a problem with backing up the entire game and such. I know what I'm doing in that regard 100%

To my knowledge, adding Canada to the CtW campaign IS possible, but would require altering the base content of the game instead of the way it is organized now in a separate mods folder. After doing that, you would then have to go and change the default Russian starting position in the CtW campaign to instead be in whatever province on the CtW map represents Ontario or something. I don't really want to do this however, as that would force the user to have to make file backups of the default unit files/rules files that I had to alter to create this mod. Furthermore, I think I used the unit entries for some of the Barbarian units in order to add new units for Canada, so some of the Barbarian type units you would encounter in the CtW campaign would probably be missing.

@kaiser_mobius is it possible to put Canada into the CtW campaign though? Or is that not possible?

This mod does not affect the CtW campaign, as it is designed to be activated and played only in the custom game mode. After playing a game of it, the mod deactivates. This also means that you cannot play as Russia since Canada replaces them in the custom game mode when the mod is activated in the pre-game setup menu.

For my own clarification does this mean that I can't have a Canada Vs. Russia game or that in the conquer the world campaign Canada would start in Russia?

now every other nation will never be played.

Why do you think if the US is in a game Canada should be too? The two nations are not even close to each other economically or militarily. Thats like saying if Russia is in a game turkmenistan must be in it too.

At last a Canadian nation in this game. If U.S.A. are present in this game, Canada should too.

No problem, I was very happy to make it! I am Canadian as well, and I greatly enjoyed adding Canada to the game in this way. Maybe one day, if I can figure out how to export .BH3 format models into the game, I will add for Canada the LAV 3?
