Stupid Gaia's IA who wall and lock himself. He prevents himself from building and doing anything by abusing his forest power. Not even collecting it x) It just sabotages itself...

Well it seems Gaia can use her powers multiple times but only Gaia. No other AI casts their powers more than once.

Good Idea but AI doesn't seem to be able to use their god powers more than 1 time still. I was playing against Hades on Anatolia.

Not that I can think of unfortunately. Would probably require specifically writing an AI that doesn't use god powers.

If you want a version of this mod without certain god powers affected, you can go into the mod folder and delete all instances of plenty.xml and son of osiris.xml in all the version folders. Copy the entire SV - Infinite God Powers folder and rename it to have it count as a new mod and not be overwritten by my patches.

Allowing infinite dryads seems like a pretty cool idea and I might put something together like that. I would involve editing the proto__.xml files though, which would break compatibility with basically every mod ever so I figure I would probably put it in a separate mod to use in conjunction with this one.

The files for my mod should be located in Steam/steamapps/common/Age of Mythology/mods/SV - Infinite God Powers. The files are all xml files so they should be relatively easy to edit with notepad. Just look for the stuff about recharges near the bottom.

Unfortunately it seems that for versions 1.0 to 2.5 I had a nasty habit of copying all the other god powers forwards to the next version folder even if the patch didn't change them, so you may need to compare to vanilla's folder, Age of Mythology/god powers to figure out which file is used by the latest patch for the god power you want to edit.

If you want to keep your changes even when I upload a patch you can copy and rename the entire mod folder, and it will probably count as a new mod.

I reckon I might come back to this at some point and make a patch deleting all the redundant xml files for people who want to poke around the files and not have it be a complete nightmare.

Just updated the mod for compatibility with 2.7, I guess this mod must have been broken for several god powers for about four months now. Sorry about that!
Also thanks for the kind words everyone. I don't play AoM much nowadays but was thinking of coming back to it, so I might think about changing the cooldown on Gaia's forest and making a quick patch.

In my opinion,i it makes the god-powers how they should be TO BEGIN WITH. The cooldown would be longer, at least on some miracles then, but whatever. I'm really glad mod like this exists, one of my favs so far.

Hey, I think you should consider increasing Son of Osiris god power's cooldown.. a lot :) Because it ends up in a loop where you keep summoning Pharoahs automatically and turning them into death machines in a low cooldown :D

How exactly do i reduce the cooldowns on god powers? Basically from 7 min or whatever is to something like 2 minutes.

Love this mod, but as stated below it kinda bugs out Gaia players. Maybe a longer cooldown on the tree spawn power?

every god is good. but when the AI is Gaia.... OMG... they cave themselves in and stay that way the whole match not able to mine or anything so they are easy to kill... if you can chop all those durable trees. :/

I love this mod <3
For now I have only tried it 3 times and just enjoyed playing with it. It is the most fantastic mod ever for this game. But for now I can't give you my opinion about what could be changed, in order for making it more balanced. But I will write to you later, when i have played a little longer.

Please keep up, the good work ;)

I have a really plan if you coud help me with it can the plenty vault be used only once it causes lag and to make unlimited amount of them is big time broken everyone is going to be greek because of it that and the son of Osirus pharoh evolve could be a little over powered as well there should only be one son of Osirus if there were more there is no Exsitment lol everyone will be Egyptian and Greek lol because they will be the only ones wining lol
The Gia tree for the atlanteans should beable to have more then 8 ents or Nymphs lol sorry don't know how to spell that.

@Rancho Relaxer Follow the steps below:
-Unsubscribe from the mod.
-Right-click AoM in your library and select properties .
-Under the Local files tab select Browse local files... To get to AoM's folder.
-Open the mods folder.
-If there is still a folder entitled SV - Infinite God Powers , delete it.
-You may as well launch the game at this point to make sure your mod list configures itself to default.
-Subscribe to the mod again
-Relaunch the game
-Make absolutely sure that SV - Infinite God Powers is active in the mod manager.

Ok I figured it out now the powers were there they just didn't show that they were there, the picture was shaded over, sorry for the confusion. But maybe you can try to recreate the bug and fix it? It's a bit confusing honestly...:balloonicorn:

@Rancho Relaxer This mod includes recharge time, as it is supposed to be used in gameplay rather than as a cheat. I'm not quite sure what your issue is, so I'll tell you exactly how this mod functions and you can tell me whether or not this sounds like what's happening in your game:
-Once any god power is cast (Atlantean or not) it will turn blue
-Extra pips may or may not display. For those powers which can display pips, they'll probably display four as this is the maximum amount that can be displayed.
-Once the power has recharged, you can cast it again
-You will be able to cast god powers over 1,000 times before they run out, making them effectively infinite.
-The mod does not work with powers given by triggers - such as certain scenario GPs - or GPs given by the PANDORAS BOX or XENOS PARADOX cheats.

Sad to hear but good that it was caught now rather than later. Also it wasn't that the mod was broken exactly but that the game refused to use the mod, disabling it on startup, claiming it was broken and to contact the author...:balloonicorn:

Rancho Relaxer I've checked both the 2.6 patch notes and the game files, and it seems like no god power files were changed. Infinite god powers is updated to 2.5, and it doesn't touch protox, so it should function fine, and in my brief testing it seemed to. Do correct me if I'm wrong about that. If you're having trouble, can you tell me exactly which god powers aren't recharging?

Also, having said that, Godlier God Powers hasn't even been updated to ToTD, but that will require completely restructuring the mod so it'll take a bit longer than anticipated.:meatytears:

Surprise update, I fixed the issue, I deleted all of the .XMB files in my god powers file leaving only the modded 1001 pips god power files and it's all working now, seems like the .XMB files were over-ruling the modded files for some reason

@Queble I thought those were there in the original game when I made the ToTD update of the mod with the new folder layouts, but they seem to be gone now. I don't know what they are, since they don't affect anything and when I open them with notepad++ I just get encrypted nonsense. I'll test and push an update without those files, and incorporate the latest patch fixes while I'm at it to see if that changes anything.

@Queble I know that it keeps the god powers there for multiplayer with people with the expansion. I'm just wondering if the folder layout is the same. Does it have the folders "version 1.0", "version 1.9", "version 2.0", "version 2.4" and "version 2.5", or are all the god powers just lumped into the main "god powers" folder?

I did do a comparison and the funny thing is even on the vannilla it still has all the chinese god powers listed in it as well, they're just not accessable without the DLC, so I guess I'm just some freakish outlier, maybe it's the steam cloud or something idk. I've kinda given up since I'm the only person who has this issue.

@Queble That's quite a shame, though you can always just go through your god powers folder and manually append

to the end of it all.
It would be a massive help, though, if you could just look in your god powers folder and tell me what it actually looks like for a vanilla player. If I have that, I may be able to fix it.

I tried all suggested fixes and everything else I could think of, it might just be broken for people who don't have the DLC at all or it might just be broken for me completely for some reason.This is a huge bummer. Thanks anyway.

@Queble I've done a quick test in vanilla (bearing in mind that I can only disable the DLC to achieve this state) but it seems to be in working order. As a last resort, you can manually install the mod. The alternative instructions are above under the INSTALL header.
