doors in save files are unsupported this is a gmod bug not me

hey is there a possibility you're gonna add a "clean up doors" option? because when I load my save file with them, the ones that open when pressing numpad keys turn into these unremovable ghost doors that only go away when I clean up everything.

I dont understand the point of that addon. I just wanna create a door. I dont want it to open whenever I press a button that i chose. I want it to be a simple door that opens on "E" when im standing next to it and looking at it. And i dont need it to open when im 1000m away from it.

i have an idea for a tool, a sound player tool, similar to wiremod but instead with key presses instead of wires. nobody has done it before.

man, i wish it was possible to save the doors somehow. really annoying how saving your game creates a permanent ghost door that you cant delete when loading it.

The only way to open a func_door is if the map allows you to with a button, or pressing E, that being said, the darkRP game mode has a battering ram weapon which will open one up easily.

I dont think you can perma prop doors, I think that is a perma prop limitation

oh i recommend getting a door lock/ unlock tool if the door just locks when it collides with stuff, it makes it easy

I'd be willing to bet you have a lot of addons installed, stuff gets weird when you have too many. Remove a bunch, if not all (tracking down the buggy addon can be hard!) and then slowly start re-adding them.

Gmod bug, it thinks the door will collide. You have to mess around with it a bit

Main tab look for Door Tool, and it can be used with wiremod by using numpad outputs
