This reminds me of the first time i played a fallout game. I was running around in some village (that i had completly whiped out) and i stumbled upon the securitron. I shot it 20 times, and nothing happened. Then, i started to turn slowly. Then it faced me, directly. I shot it about six or seven times more before i relized i had fucked up hard. and then it blew my leg off, and i was killed instantly.

As soon as it moves, every position it could be in doesn't matter anymore, since you've got another force to deal with in the equation

I don't know if the games physics engine is advanced enough, but maybe try doing a sort of gyroscope inside of it with cogs

jackaribbean11 - I tried this with a mod that lets you spawn knights where you want. It seems that this bug/feature was removed in an update. It would have been the perfect sollution.

Mephiles - Yes, that's the idea that would work. But at this size, nothing can fit inside except a small wheel, which is not enough by itself to stabilize. I am planning a scaled-up version that could use a bigger gyro system, something about twice as big could look good and function as it should as well.

try adding a grabber on top and building a crane to lift a person/yak/sheep/chicken up ro the grabber to keep it upright. and maybe a safety tower to hold it in place while you get the man?
