@DBZWii09 I have a surefire way of porting player models, but they are in multiple components, the only one so far that I have ported as a ragdoll (not on workshop) is Shiva
Sanikku  [author] Aug 12, 2020 @ 9:25am
Some people are already working that. While i have a very negative personal opinion on them, they're already working on it and what they're doing is acceptable.
DBZWii09 Aug 11, 2020 @ 10:13am
if this could be ported to GMod, think of what would happen if players' in-game avatars or NPCs from PSO2 were made available for GMod. just a thought :fhappy:
SuperLuke99 Jul 2, 2020 @ 5:56am
Any chance of porting the Darkers?
KJ Dash May 17, 2020 @ 2:07pm
I'll pay you in £ if you port Nyau to Gmod! <3
guihvm Mar 30, 2020 @ 7:22pm
God bless you, this means we could start to rip models without "arks-layer's tools" this is awesome
Davidicus Jan 18, 2019 @ 4:34pm
Ah man. Imagine someone making skins for all the PSO1 classes. The body groups could serve like the sliderbars to customize your character. That'd be so wacky. Kireek and Montegue for the win.
I'm not saying that guy has to be you, but still congrats for giving PSO2 some love. Matoi would be proud of you, ARKs.

I would try the demo, but the problem is I assume the demo doesn't include all the costumes/outfits/accessories the game holds and I have a very specific setup of my character I want. Hmmmm I want to try Ninjaripper but currently Ninjaripper doesn't even work for me when I try it with GodEater so I'm too afraid to try with PSO2 since Gameguard might end up getting me banned. Still appreciate the reply wasn't expecting one from an almost year old post.
Sanikku  [author] Mar 26, 2018 @ 7:51pm
i havent even atempted recently again, but if you really badly want it, you might just create its face in the demo and then work with that. alternetavely you can try hacking it in yourself, Ninjaripper actually uses DX injection/wrapping. and someone made reshade work with pso2, so idk you could try doing that to get the model.
TheShadowHatter Mar 26, 2018 @ 3:33pm
I know I'm here almost a whole year later, but I'm here because idk where to turn anymore. I want to know if you still dabble in PSO2, and if so, if you know of any updated way to rip models from the game. I really want to grab my custom character from PSO2 so badly everywhere I look is outdated information. Yours seemed to be the most recent but you claim it's outdated as well yes? I was hoping that maybe there's a newer updated way to do it now, especially since we've evolved a bit thanks to programs like the PSO2 tweaker around. Hope to get a response from you, and hope even more that it's with good news.
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 29, 2017 @ 2:06pm
THanks I'll try that out.
Sanikku  [author] May 29, 2017 @ 12:56am
NinjaRipper might work with the benchmark atleast, i know you can get it work with thegame itself but its a pain in the ass.
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 29, 2017 @ 12:33am
Do you have any idea what tools still work to export the models ?
Thanks you very much.
Sanikku  [author] May 28, 2017 @ 8:00pm
Well, the method i used is no longer working, but if the models used do luckily appear on the benchmark and the hairs you want are default, i might be able to rip , i dont do gmod things anymore, but i might try if i ever get the time
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 28, 2017 @ 10:19am
So what models can you export out from the game?
Sanikku  [author] May 28, 2017 @ 8:33am
Huh shame, well the jP version is alot better anyways, you just gotta do slot of anoying proxy shit if you don't leave in the US or JP
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 27, 2017 @ 11:55pm
So now the only version of PSO2 is in Japan
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 27, 2017 @ 11:54pm
Yeah sadly playpark pulled the plug on staurday at 1 am
Sanikku  [author] May 27, 2017 @ 9:32pm
Probably not, but Pso2 SEA closed?
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 27, 2017 @ 8:31pm
PSO2 Just closed in my region an i was ondering if it is possible to export my charater model out from the game.
Ruka Erika ♥️🐿 May 27, 2017 @ 8:29pm
Can you port PSO2 charater models?
Sanikku  [author] Feb 6, 2017 @ 10:26am
I'd do it if I could
Kitsugra Feb 5, 2017 @ 4:36pm

🔄 DarkSydeSora 🔄 Jan 19, 2017 @ 9:06am
Wish there was some stuff from PSO:BB for gmod
Arala Cran Aug 26, 2016 @ 7:23pm
Really need more PSO2 stuffs!
docvalentine Mar 22, 2016 @ 8:10am
Nope, no Vardha in any of the benchmarks I could find (v1, v2 or ep4).
docvalentine Mar 22, 2016 @ 7:30am
I've found the Ep. 2 benchmark, and I'll check it out. Thanks for the advice!
Sanikku  [author] Mar 22, 2016 @ 6:37am
*Episode 2 benchmark
Sanikku  [author] Mar 22, 2016 @ 6:36am
When I got it, you didn't need to be signed in to download files so nope. I belive in the episode benchmark they have a scene were they show the big Vardha (I'm unsure though) . I might help if you still can't figure out anything though.
docvalentine Mar 22, 2016 @ 6:26am
If you have a membership on that forum, could you download the script again? I'd really appreciate it.
docvalentine Mar 22, 2016 @ 6:24am
The model I'm trying to extract is Big Vardha. I thought it would be cool to 3D print one.
Sanikku  [author] Mar 21, 2016 @ 10:53pm
Sadly i formated my harddrive a couple of months ago so no, you can attempt to use ninja ripper right no however. maybe use it on the benchmarks and see if you find a model you want.
docvalentine Mar 21, 2016 @ 8:23pm
Hi! I've been looking all day for that plugin - the forum it is on isn't allowing sign ups right now. If you still have the plugin, could you help me out?
Mat2 Dec 5, 2015 @ 5:02pm
You know what? I've decided I'm not going to have this argument. Let's just agree to look down on each other over this and put it behind us ok?
Mat2 Dec 5, 2015 @ 4:47pm
It's not about rules. If it was, I would have spesfically mentioned rules. If it were just about not having a goal, I would have had no need to elaborate further. Games have a set structure beyond just what you consider to be the actual rules. For example: You can't play football with a tennis ball.
Sanikku  [author] Dec 5, 2015 @ 4:16pm
@Mat2 gmod is a game simply because its a interactive expirience where you can do things to entertain yourself. and before you use the "it has no goal" excuse. Every digital thing made for everyone to interact with and have fun is a game, why? The programing, its a set of rules, every game has a set of rules, correct? by your logic things like minecraft classic arent games, because there is no goal and no real way of losing or winning. but it will always have a set of rules.
Mat2 Dec 5, 2015 @ 4:10pm
Also I said "Oh and if Project Diva F counts" for a reason.
Mat2 Dec 5, 2015 @ 4:06pm
How do you even "play" gmod? Every sandbox game I've ever played had at least some sort of procedure for playing it. Sim City, you build a city. Scribblenauts, you use words to create stuff to solve puzzles. Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon, you build a theme park with crazy roller coasters. Minecraft, use blocks to build stuff and optionally survive a few hostile enviroments to get materials to build stuff out of blocks. Gmod doesn't have any set way of "playing" like these games do on it's own. You can ADD set ways of playing sure, but on it's own it's nothing but a big empty sandbox.

Gmod doesn't NEED to be a game to make anything you do with it be validated.
Mat2 Dec 5, 2015 @ 4:06pm
I DO take offense because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and I really don't want to have to do this but I'm now going to have to explain why:

Gmod is a sandbox mod of the source engine and without any aspect of the source engine games it borrows from (which is mostly HL2), it doesn't have anything remotely resembling a game. It's even less of a game than Minecraft, which not only has randomly generated ememies, but on it's own it has multiple levels AND an end goal. It has a set procedure for how you play it too.

Gmod has NONE of these things on it's own. Far as I can tell, you can't just move straight from flatgrass to construct via portal without another server running flatgrass and extra codding added in, even if you didn't need another server, you'd still have to add your own coding.
Sanikku  [author] Dec 5, 2015 @ 7:00am
Also from onw and only i meant the species
Sanikku  [author] Dec 5, 2015 @ 6:54am
@Mat2 maaaan no offence but you are stupid. First off gmod is a game, it has the basics of a game and its standalone. And second, those mmd models are remakes. Not ports. And finally, the oracle in pdf has the same textures but its a different model. dont talk about stuff without knowing
Mat2 Dec 4, 2015 @ 10:53pm
Oh and if Project Diva F counts, the shopping area of the ORACLE ship was ported to MMD from that game as well.
Mat2 Dec 4, 2015 @ 10:31pm
BTW, gmod isn't a game and Dudu, partner character Quna, and a few other models were ported to MMD, which isn't a game either. I used some of them in this video http://www.zippcast.com/video/cbbc98db1a82b09fa59 link to the models in the description.
Mat2 Dec 4, 2015 @ 10:05pm
"One and only"

Except they're a species and they existed in PSU where they looked more like like Ragol Rappies and the classic rappies/chirpers were shorter and chubbier.
AndresKyos Dec 2, 2015 @ 11:49am
Pretty cool.... I love it... I love PSO2!
Sanikku  [author] Sep 26, 2015 @ 6:30am
@a109379 what do you mean? This thing is also not against the eula or copyright as it didnt modify the games files, just ported them. If thats what you mean.
76561198108847727 Sep 26, 2015 @ 3:17am
do you need me to @sega by twitter or mail? or DELETE THE GAME
Caden Nyral Sep 24, 2015 @ 7:59pm
Damn. I tried just copying over the models and materials folders to the usermod folder in SFMs directory, like you can do with most gmod models, but in SFM itself only the bones show up. no model. Thanks for the reply though, I figured it was worth asking anyway.
Sanikku  [author] Sep 24, 2015 @ 7:39pm
@CNinja idk how to port for SFM, sorry :/
