@FLASH: Some time ago the game added a fourth speed button that's the same speed of this mod's fifth speed button. Before that update the game only had three speed buttons.

Is this mod working?

The base game max speed seems to be the same as the mods max speed.

Menu > Extras > Mods > Better Clock Mod
Check that box.
Play a game and it will work.

@EpicStud: The mod is still working. To install mods from the Workshop simply click the Subscribe button and then Steam will automatically download them. With Prison Architect, you'll then have to enable the mod in game.

does it work on latest version? im not sure how to install mods on steam, this is my first time

@liks_123q: If you can't see the extra buttons you either didn't enable the mod correctly or some other mod is also editing the clock

how to do 10x there is no 10x button

sorry i already uninstalled the game, but as i said, it was probably because the other mod, i didnt know they can effect each other so much

@ELED3L: How many mods have you enabled and are placed before in your mod loader? Try just moving it at the top or at the bottom to see if that fixes something.

the buttons didnt show at all, no change from original, maybe its from the other mod i tried then, it was another clock mod, didnt work either

@ELED3L: Are the buttons showing or not?
If not there is a problem in your mod load order and you need to try to change it/disable incompatible mods.
Otherwise if the buttons are showing and you don't notice a faster simulation speed try it on a new prison and check there: it might be that your current prison is too complex and the game/computer can't simulate it any faster

@Vortex: Sadly the game now limits the simulation speed in escape mode so you can't use it anymore in that mode

Sucks that its now disabled in escape mode solitary is gonna suck

@2Epic4You: In a recent update the game disabled high simulation speed in escape mode so the mod sadly doesn't work in that mode anymore (and the game also forces to hide the extra speed buttons)

@2Epic4You: The game will only try to speed up the prison but sadly if it is too complex or if your PC can't handle the faster speed there's nothing the game can do.

@✯Я.д.þ✯ Vothka: What do you mean with that? The mod does work, if it does not work for you, check the other comments and try to find a solution

@SilentHunter: Some other mods may be not compatible, try disabling every other mod and see if it starts working, if it does, slowly re-enable your other mods to see which one is causing the problem (and see if moving them in the list fixes it) otherwise try deleting every file of this mod and reinstall it (not just unsubscribing and re-subscribing here on Workshop), you can do it by deleting this folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods\479040269

@4loris4 mod does not work. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still nothing. can you help me?

@conneath: Yeah an update apparently added the x10 speed button by default and changed the behaviour of the clock in escape mode by making only the pause, the x1 and the x2 buttons work

was that change recent? since i swear it wasnt like this last time i played
i dont get why its been changed to hide the buttons, theres a lot of waiting in escape mode

@conneath: The game automatically hides every button except Pause, x1 and x2 in escape mode (it doesn't hide x7 because its not in the game by default but it still doesn't work).
I can change that and sadly you can play escape mode only with x1 and x2 now

hey it doesn't work. there is no 7x timer when i load it. idk are there any dependencies or things it cant work with
