go into Courting & Marriage and you can hook up with any of the NPC including Carlotta, but you have to adopt Mila Valentia to get her also. As for kissing female can marry and kissing requires the kissing mod and the lovers stone. Mine kisses any other girl in the game, also use the Solitude Dolls and more girls to marry mod. Good Luck.

females will not marry females in game ,have hard time getting a kiss have to ask strangers on street( woohoo)

Please help! I can't get this to work. I really like the idea of being able to marry Carlotta, especially since she says "no man can get between me and my daughter" and I always play a female ;) So I kind of like having that twist. I have tried changing the load order of this mod several times(immediately affter the DLCs, middle, towards the end and even made it the VERY last mod) and it still doesn't work. I even started over with a completely vanilla game(the horror! LOL) with only this mod running and I still don't get the option. I always do her quest(I'd like to put a dagger to Mikeal's throat myself, LOL ;)) and still nothing! I never get the option and I'm not sure what else to do because I really would love to use this mod to marry Carlotta for at least one of my characters.

so update.. i got married to carlotta and adopted her child but only mila lives in my house in whiterun.. carlotta still stays in her house.. any tips?

i get the option to marry her and the quest to attend my own wedding but no one ever shows up.. and the wedding never starts.. help!!!

honestly i dont know, its been quite a while since i played skyrim or even had it on my PC. you can try, just save it then uninstall the mod, reload your save and test, then once if it does simply reinstall the mod and load the save back up.

if i uninstall this mod (no offense this is great mod just trying to reuce my mod numbers) will it unadopt mila valentia

use console command (addfac 19809 1) and click on Carlotta,then exit console command. Now talk to Carlotta while wearing the amulet of mara.

I can adopt Mila but i can't marry Carlotta...

If someone have issues getting charlotta to notice you, then the problem could be that you dont have spoken to the guy in riften that tells about how it is to marry someone and all that stuff

I should add that some of the UPS updates are in your save game, which may be why disabling the UHFP didn't help.

I have had issues in the past with a mod of mine that makes the Steward, Bard and Housecarl sleep in the upstairs beds of the Hearthfire Homes. It stopped working when the Unofficial Hearthfire patch added Adopted Child Faction to the upstairs beds. It appears that their updates are done through scripting (more efficient and space concious than modifying entire records). So the changes are made after all the mods are loaded. In my case I posted a note to the UHFP page on the Nexus explaining what my mod did, etc. They listened and changed how they applied bed faction, which was the issue, so that my mod would work again. You may want to look into this yourself, it's possible that your mod is being overwritten by either the Unofficial Hearthfire or Legendary patch. If you explain the issue they will try to figure out if they are overwritting Carlotta and possibly accomidate you in a later update as they so gratiously did for me.

I had trouble getting this mod to work. I completed the bard quest and while I could adopt the child, Carlotta would not recognize the Amulet of Mara. I thought it might be a mod conflict and tried uninstalling a number of them including the Unofficial Patch. I placed the mod last in load order. All to no avail. I got it to work by doing the following through console after completing the bard quest.

setrelationshiprank player 4
player.setrelationshiprank player 4
addfac 19809 4

This will work on most NPCs, notably it will not work on Elisif. I got this information from the Skyrim Wiki.

Afterwards Carlotta recognized the Amulet of Mara and married me without issue.

Love this mod. I've always wanted to marry Carlotta. Had no trouble at all. Was happy to find oout I don't have to adopt Mila. Carlotta deserts her child in Whiterun to come live with me in Lakeview Manor leaving Mila to fend for herself. My kind of woman.

Won't give me the adoption dialogue. Tried everything maybe. Help?

Razylus, You Need to Complete the Can you do me a Favour" quest before the line becomes available. if you have already completed this quest it may be required to use console commands to increase your relationship level! This could be becasue you have killed another NPC in front of her, which could affect her attitude towards you!

So I did the quest I needed to do, got the amulet of mara from riften, but when I talked to her, the chat option didn't show up. And yes, I did use the console commands you listed earlier, but it still didn't help. Please help the idiot here.

try clicking opening the console, clicking on her to get her ref no. then typing "setrelationshiprank (Ref no. here) 4" followed by "setrelationshiprank player 4" hope this helps. The mod worked perfectly for me.

you need to talk to maramel about marriage as well. or alternatley you can open the console and enter, "setstage relationshipmarriage 10"
