Not sure where the meme of "Mods on the Workshop costs money" come from, but incase some people worry.

Mods on the workshop are free, and even if they werent, Steam wont charge you without asking you first in a very obvious way. Like "Hey, do you want to pay for this? Click here again to buy this thing, also hey. This is your billing info."
