i will say if your into immersion and wanna use this mod side with imperials and finish the war first before activating this mod cause you get a letter right of the back and the way its worded is like the war is over just saying

Q: I am a Stormcloak, but the letter says it comes from Jarl Balgruuf, who is dead?!
A: Deal with it. I don't care about your precious immersion.

i really want this mod badly but for some reason regular skyrim doesnt work doesnt register my keyboard only special edition and i looked for the mod there but couldnt find any way u could add this mod to skyrim special editions i really would love to play this and have this as my capitol :x

Hi! Good mod! but i have a problem: my follower don't return to castle but go to original site?

Just finished playing first the quest and it was interesting but way to costly to refurbish if my char was just from Helgen.So,in that case I wouldn't do the quest just take the castle without the quest to remove the curse.
Great castle and small micro village within it! Really well done.

Awesome castle, love it really, but I have a question, I see that the guards have a feature where you give them armor, well... I gave one a full set of armor, wich he used, but then the next time I came back to the Castle that same guard returned to the original Castle Gonduin Guard armor, and in the helmet it glitched, it had clipped the helmet that I gave him with the helmet of Gonduin lol, any hints, pls? I would really appreciate it.

I wish this mod was available in the special edition. I left so much equipment in that gorgeous castle.

about 5 guards died in a bandit raid does anyone know if they respawn after while?

Forgot to add. I'm playing the original skyrim again. Bought the SSE version, what a pain in the ass. Crashed my pc constantly, deleted that and loaded the original. So all these issues i see may be the sse version.

So i loaded this in about a month ago. Fantastic mod, well laid out. Congrats on a very playable castle. Two ways this mod goes. One is you can do the quest, win the castle and build it up from rubble to a functioning castle. I did this and realized i couldn't afford to fix the castle and its not cheap. So i reloaded and refused the quest. This gave me the castle fully upgraded so i could get on with what i was doing previously. I use the castle exclusively and its a great base, great location, lots to do in there, and several npcs that you can buy from etc. A few bugs like my rocks are floating above my head, plants as well, but its a magical land so ive decided it was magic gone wrong and actually enjoy them. Plays well and has some surprises for you to discover. So whichever way you play it is awesome. Thanks to the author.

I have tried every form of bugfix known and no mater what I do, the steward just isn't there at all. I spend a good 5 hours searching the entire castiel down to the last pixel and spent another hour and a half saving, reloading, reinstalling the mod and running the whole quest again, but no fucking matter what I do, the steward is never there at all.

I'd hate to have sex with a spider too xXxDrkloadxXx.

God fucking dammit, I hate fucking spiders in this game, thanks for that jump scare.

I heard things about you giving up on this mod, but I would like to say that I preferred the old method of giving the guards weapons and armor, with you putting the stuff in the chest, why'd you choose to just give every SINGLE GUARD THAT CAN DIE armor that can be hard to make?

I love this mod. Great work! I only had/have 1 issue and that's the key to the door in the cavern. The adventurer either wasn't in the room or didn't have the key. Not sure which. Is there an item number I can use to summon the key?

this mods does not work at all dont dowenloaded it at all its a joke. and it does not even work on xbox one skyrim se.

Even without any response from the creator I still love this mod, and ALWAYS make sure I have the castle as a home. Maybe one of our more experienced people here could suss out the castle's stuff and do some mods to it themselves? I've tried poking around but have zero experience with modding other than changing followers' names. Like I said ages ago, changing the castle name would be a cool option for players if anyone has any idea where to look for that.

This mod has far too many bugs. It has potential but I do not recommend it as no updates appear to be planned.

Just got this and looked through it, still a great home, an actual castle like a small town in itself

This mod is no longer being updated, the latest update was within the year of 2016. Suggestions below & above will most likely be ignored as are all comments here.

thank you for that wonderful Mod, I really like your Work but there are 2 or 3 little things i would suggest as an idea. One thing is that i think that the castle tavern should be ab little bit more life. and inside the treasury should be one or two chests to drop someof the expensive stuff.

is it posible that the mod for "the eagle's nest" castle is interfiring with this one?

I´ve accidentally clicked that I don´t want to do the quest, but can I still sommehow do it? And the castle also didn´t appear on my map

@Citizen May be a another mod, try disabling all your other mods and then walking inside the castle.

When i go inside(i resotred all) the game crash, helppp

There is a mistake with the grounds, right at the gate - it is not too burdensome just fall down and hurt and on the balcony - this is very disturbing because you go out to the balcony to get it but go back fancy with this palace it is not, mod not worth one of 255 seats because such a limit to correct action shows nexus). There is nothing here worth noting.
