i trust the titles of countless videos over a few comments on a single video, all the videos of this song i have watched have said it was sung by the voice actors, the whole point in the video of the charactes pictures lighting up is so you know what voice actors are singing when

They're Niconico users who sang the Tokyo Ghoul intro. Not the TG seiyuus. You were probably mislead by the title. The video above has a few comments saying they aren't the real TG seiyuus.

No it is the voice actors, its the voice actors of the show singing their intro, otherwise who else would it be? specify who the actual singers are if its not them please

I hope you know it's NOT the VOICE ACTORS who are the singing the opening. It's just a nickname for the actual singers.
