I'll ask since I can find no way to contact you. Is it possible to get permission to port your move to SSE I will give full credit to you the author and the mod would be hosted on and only on Nexus Mods.
jchaosmaster Feb 19, 2021 @ 10:18pm
i honestly wish someone would port this to speical addition.
Mattes Apr 29, 2020 @ 3:34am
Do you plan on making the craftable boots enchantable?
A stronger version available to buy from Florentius after Kindred Judgement would be nice too.
Ekczip Jul 5, 2019 @ 4:10pm
Robe looks good, cant enchant boots tho
Knight-16 May 28, 2019 @ 3:28am
Hey @Casline, chance I can include this into a project i'm working on? I'm planning to expand and enhance Fort Dawnguard (as well as some more armor pieces overall, and a 'dedicated' player 'house'/'room' and I was hoping I could use this armor for it as well!

Hope to get a reply soon!

The crafted boots won't let you enchant them.
Chronocide Jul 23, 2018 @ 11:11am
You may want to mention in the description that the robes are craftable.
Anthony Jackson Jul 8, 2018 @ 8:32am
Could you please make it for Volkihar vampires?
Zykoth May 30, 2018 @ 7:52am
While I agree that it would be nice to have a little more variety like the two commenters below me, I do not think that it required. These robes look great by themselves, and nothing more is needed.

This is a good mod. It would be transcendent, though, if like the Stormcloak and Imperial Robes mods, it had a decorative College-style robe as an extra option, maybe something a little Van Hellsingian, something that looks like an unarmored Vampire Hunter-style coat.
Spaceman27 Feb 12, 2017 @ 10:38am
It would be cool if there would be a set of robes with a lighter coloring on the robe itself, similar to how they are a few different colorings on the official dawnguard armors

Simple but a wonderful mod:steamhappy:
Lord Protector of Columbia Jul 8, 2016 @ 3:38pm
Can you make Florentius wear these once he is in the Dawnguard?
rcbecker1 Apr 5, 2016 @ 2:45pm
For some reason when you make the boots they will not enchant.
mycastlecellar Jan 5, 2016 @ 2:07pm
Hi Casline; I hope you are doing well? I just tried your mod and it is a super mod. I would like for you if you have time to make a change? You can create the robes, boots, gloves, and hood; but you can not upgrade to where they are useable to followers. They need to wear something that is more than their Authors have set on the NPC's clothing. So if you can fix that so we can work with the DawnGuard Robes to upgrade to more powerful clothing that would be super. I know we can enchant them; but making them more powerful to protect the NPC's would be great. Thanks and keep up the good work.
MadTyrant86 Aug 7, 2015 @ 8:19pm
i like it, but why does it not have some of the other dawnguard equipment enchantments that help protect you against vampires
rcbecker1 Jul 21, 2015 @ 10:49pm
Can you make the hood useable with a circlet?
One Whole Dragon Jun 8, 2015 @ 9:08pm
I like the idea, but I think I'll stick with the Battlemage Armor.
zazzmagicmaster May 25, 2015 @ 11:03am
Looks nice with Dwarven arrows on the back . My spell sword girl is full figured, and I thought it was funny how the Dawn Guard logo was on her bum .:droid:
H4ZE May 12, 2015 @ 11:27am
this is a great mod people
Noisome Noob May 12, 2015 @ 11:15am
this mod now has an unenchanted, craftable set of robes which you can make at the tanning rack.
IGIpyCCCP May 12, 2015 @ 2:58am
sad its not craftable but looks amazing
Noisome Noob May 10, 2015 @ 8:20pm
@Casline I went into the Creation kit and set the female first person to the clothes\dawnguardrobes\f\1stpersondawnguardrobesf_1.nif and the texture shows up fine for me in game?
Noisome Noob May 10, 2015 @ 7:33am
I went into the creation kit and added the dawnguard 25% less vampire damage effect to the armor, but it doesn't show up in the active effects so i don't know how to tell if it works.
rzrfkr May 10, 2015 @ 6:10am
DOES IT REQUIRE DAWNGUARD?! TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Melletch May 9, 2015 @ 7:26pm
Companions are about heart, not armor. Ya welp!
Caedrin  [author] May 9, 2015 @ 6:51pm
Thank you everyone for your comments and feedback! As several people have suggested/requested, this mod now has an unenchanted, craftable set of robes which you can make at the tanning rack. Lok, Thu'um!
SilverDusk May 9, 2015 @ 2:55pm
@Melletch Pfft. Companions wear armor, not robes. Ya milk drinker.
Melletch May 9, 2015 @ 1:17pm
Do we need Companions, Thieves Guild, and Volkihar robes too...

: )

I think you may not need to worry about the Vampire robes, because there are some. But the only real Vampire robe for mages is obtained through the Dawnguard side of the DLC. Perhaps your own wizard's robes for Volkihar clan could be customized. I like these faction robes that were excluded from the game. I think a Wizard's armor for the College of Winterhold might be in order as long as we are seeing these kind of mods.
Victoryguard May 9, 2015 @ 11:24am
I think Muffle on the boots and Backstab on the gloves - for using Dawnguard war axe would be more fitting. Double restoration seems like overkill.
Doctor Drac May 9, 2015 @ 8:51am
I have some ideas to improve it, but I really don't want to get the wrong idea here. I don't mean this is a crap mod. Quite the opposite - this is a truly lore-friendly mod, but these are some things I think you could do to make it perfect:
Make various types: Heavy, Light, and ofc, Cloth.
The Restoration makes sense, but let's be honest: If you're a holy cleric/priest/mage and hunter of vampires, you're not gonna be very subtle.
Also, this is REALLY what you should do: Make the set count as a Dawnguard set so that the Dawnguard helmet enchant works with the robes.
Darth Princesses has a good point, though. Also, ElderGamer1 has a good idea too. Maybe add rune staves that can place runes for the cost of Stamina or Magicka instead of bashing or having a charge.
...Or maybe I can do that last thing. Hmm... Anyway. Just my ideas to make it more awesome! Hope you get to read this comment.
117kevin May 9, 2015 @ 8:49am
I agree with Darth Princess!!! I mostly use conjeration spells as well as destruction. Can ya make em in a format like the Archmage robes. That would cover all us Mages out here who love this game. P.S.- Do ya gotta start a new game for the robes to be available? In my newest Mage I havent meet any vamps yet or seen anything to do with the Dawngaurd as of yet. Thanks though for making the robes! Cant wait to get em on.
[VIP] KongKebab III May 9, 2015 @ 8:37am
can you add a unenchanted set to?. they are cool but not everyone uses restoration (and sneaking) :)
ElderGamer1 May 9, 2015 @ 7:49am
They look beautiful! Any possibility you could add Staffs that have the smae kind of Enchantments that the other Dawnguard weapons have? Sorry if that question was already asked...
Thumbindabum May 9, 2015 @ 7:37am
Pretty, but wouldn't it make more sense to give the set stats similar to the dawnguard armor? 25% less damage from Vampire attacks and Drain Life spells while wearing a complete set of Dawnguard armor. I think adding in a set bonus to what you already have will set you in the right direction.

Моды для идиотов
Dairegh May 8, 2015 @ 3:32pm
I have to wonder though, is there a way you could add the resistence to Drain spells that normal Dawnguard armor gives?
Perseus May 8, 2015 @ 12:42pm
nice job on the textures
Bouble Dacon Beesechurger May 7, 2015 @ 11:33pm
Could you do robes for other magic schools too? Or unenchanted versions
YoYoduh May 6, 2015 @ 1:51pm
I'll second that motion for an uninchanted set also , You have done an awsome job on this mod My hat is off to You . Great work!!!
King Sombra May 6, 2015 @ 6:46am
As someone who never really liked doing mage builds in Skyrim (because all the clothing options made me look like some kind of badly pixilated vomit) I am in love with these robes. An unenchanted version would be amazing so I can use them in the late game. Do that for me and we've got ourselves a mage build that won't stab the Dawnguard in the back for a change.
[MET] Aditsan May 5, 2015 @ 8:08pm
You should consider talking to the mod author of Requiem and see if he'll integrate this or if you want to just make a patch for it. This would be neat but I'm cocerned it might interefer with my Requiem play through since that mod does change how magic works.
GearHeart476 May 5, 2015 @ 11:54am
any chance for a replacer version? Like for that one priet of Arkay that's a member of the Dawnguard? Or maybe some Dawnguard mage NPCs?
Stash May 5, 2015 @ 10:32am
This looks really nice! Can't wait to try it out in-game. Also gotta express the desire for an unenchanted version. :)
Yokai May 4, 2015 @ 11:32pm
Wait there's no need now. I did it myself. It's a lot harder than I expected it to be actually.
Yokai May 4, 2015 @ 11:08pm
Also maybe swap out one of the reduce magicka cost enchantments for an increase restoration spell magnitude? There aren't enough magnitude enchantments these days.
Yokai May 4, 2015 @ 11:06pm
Why doesn't the hood have the same enchantment as the other two dawnguard sets? The only reason the Dawnguard armor was favourable for that questline is because if you had all 4 pieces equipped, you'd take 25% less damage from any attack that a vampire made against you.
Andromediax666 May 3, 2015 @ 5:37am
strange??? have seen this mod in a other site??
