Is there a gmod version of this. If you can, please send me a link to the gmod model

Can you make the other characters? Like, Snotlout,Fishlegs, and Ruff and Tuff? Maybe the Gronckle and Zippleback would be nice. But if you dont have the time or working on something else i completely understand. it would be nice for the other characters with their dragons though

Yeah, still struggling a bit with that in my modeling skills, the facial flex process is quite intense and I'm still not that good at it, but I am practicing.

Pretty useful model. I hath maketh a thing with it: http://thomasmason417.deviantart.com/art/Smile-556522690

Thing is, I wanted Hiccup to look completely and utterly shocked, like, say, this: https://saitonexus.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/holy-buck.png

Which brings me to my main point; BETTER FACEPOSING PLZ!!!!!!!

Could you do a port of Toothless? I don't get models from online and I don't download GMOD to SFM software. My younger sisters would go crazy if they saw a video with HTTYD stuff made by me.
Pte Jack  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2015 kl. 16:16
I don't know if the command line command -nosteam works with GMod.
SharkLordSatan 30. apr. 2015 kl. 16:12
@Pte Jack - Hmn. Also, do you know of a way to force Gmod to open up in a window without having to go into the game itself to set it to window mode? I want to see if that'll help with it not freezing my entire laptop.
Pte Jack  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2015 kl. 16:06
For me GMod on a laptop (or a Desktop for that matter) seems to take forever to launch. It's because of all the add-ons I've subbed. Every time it launches, it verifies that the add-on's haven't been updated then downloads those that have. Just sit back and let it do its work, it will start eventually. You can try sites like game banana, Deviantart and others.

Honestly I think this is a fairly decent model/rip [i've seen amazing HTTYD rips(?) of Toothless, a Deadly Nadder/Stormfly and a Monsterous Nightmare/Hookfang on SFMLab] but I have a question; do you think it would be possible to port models from a game like Halo Wars, into SFM? Now I'm not capable of porting it myself since I don't have the tools for it, but I'm simply curious if such a thing would be possible.

Also, do you know good websites where I can port halo gmod models [besides Garrysmod.org(?) ] into SFM? I really want to get my hands on the Scarab that's available but unfortunately gmod has taken to freezing my laptop whenever I try to launch it, so it's hard for me to port the models from the game. Unless it's possible for me to turn the .gma files into SFM-friendly files without opening the game.

Yeah, I know - I didn't mean to sound greedy, it's just hard to pose a model for different scenes when there's little to no expression, and i'm sureo ther people might notice it, too, but it's a VERY good rip! I don't mind the low quality textures or any of that stuff, I just thought, you know, moving eyes and a bit more expression would help make the model easier to use!

you don't have to do it, I'm sure I can mount a Link model over Hiccup's head, and recolor the hair and eyes in GIMP, but, you know, it doesn't hurt to challenge yourself! but as I said, if you're really into it, you might need help from experianced modellers, so you don't overwork yourself! Best of luck in the future, mate!

Model is pretty low poly, your lucky he has the ability to open his mouth. As for the eyes, I'm investigating ways to make that happen, the mesh is sparse in that area. That's what you get from models on that site. They're all low poly sub-game type obj rips. Saw your request and thought it might be interesting to see if I could do it., but for only about 4 hour work, it didn't turn out too bad.

Hey, Jack! thanks for porting over Hiccup! It's funny - I asked for the exact thing yesterday. XD

However, I noticed a few quirks with the model - the eyes are textured, so they can't be moved, (Maybe you could somehow cut out the textured eyes, and insert custom eye models that resemble his eyes? ) and he's not very expressive (Happy, sad, angry...). I'm sure you can team up with someone who's good with this kind of thing to make a more expressive Hiccup! Once again, though, cheers for the work! :3
