sam.pidgeon 30. mar. 2021 kl. 18:27

Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2021 kl. 17:35

Thank you very much.
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 21. sep. 2019 kl. 14:07
Feel free to use any of my patterns to your hearts content. Good luck with your mod.

Hi Thunderbolt II, I'm currently updating and working on an overhaul of the GC set in the 6th century. I would love to use your shield patterns for the Nordic, Saxon and other faction reskins. These designs are far superior to anything I'm able to come up with. Full credit and links to this mod would be included of course.

Thanks for your consideration,
Wibblywobblywonder

I confirm the bugs mentioned before. Even without any other mod that could possibly conflict with this one, Notitia Dignitatum changes religious icons, religious building's UI, faction flags and map previews in the campaign menu. This is a pity because otherwise your mod is awesome. THe variety of shield patterns leads the game a huge step towards historical correctness.
elbeto_kpo 7. feb. 2018 kl. 13:23
Um, Thunderbolt, I agree with the previous comment from petertel123321, the mod seemingly also modifies the franks faction emblem, as well as the entire arian christian religious building tree. I use Radious mod, is there a chance there is some conflict there?
Apart from this, the mod is just AWESOME, really necessary for the game. Thanks!
Fridge King 30. nov. 2017 kl. 6:56
Somehow this mod changes the flag of the tanukhids for me, as well as multiple religious icons (arianism suddenly has a crescent moon with a star) is this intentional or some bug?
Lord Castellan Majorian 21. nov. 2017 kl. 8:57
Can you make Sheilds for the Cohors, all the different shield patterns, maybe someone will make a mod adding the historical legions
Alaric 22. jan. 2017 kl. 9:23
@Thunderbolt II - I love this! :D Thank you for making it!

May I use your shield patterns on my mods? I'll give you credits and post a link to this page of course ;)

Certain high-tier spear units for the saxons and vikings are missing spears as well as some cavalry.
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 5. mar. 2016 kl. 23:41
I'm not sure. It may be possible that it conflicts with other mods. Or maybe it is something that I have overlooked. Are there any specific units that you have discovered with missing weapons? If you can name them I may be able to fix them.
Gooch Smoocher 5. mar. 2016 kl. 11:05
Does this cause units to have missing weapons, specifically the Norsemen?
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2015 kl. 18:13
Yes, only variantmeshes are changed, so updates don't interfere with it.
Ares Total War 13. dec. 2015 kl. 7:57
still works?
The Running Man 13. dec. 2015 kl. 7:46
hey are you still working on this mod?
BROSEPH $TALIN 25. nov. 2015 kl. 11:43
Does this work with other mods namely radious avertis reskin and norse and saxon reskin
The Running Man 25. nov. 2015 kl. 8:56

The Running Man 25. nov. 2015 kl. 6:48

Playing as Ireland and I can tell you first hand, this mod is great!!! It's a must when playing as Ireland.
Old School Internet Warlord 23. sep. 2015 kl. 3:20
Well this explains it. I just thought so because your description says you replaced shields of Germanic factions.
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 23. sep. 2015 kl. 0:40
I don't think that I have gotten around to making any shield patterns for Frankish units yet.
Old School Internet Warlord 19. sep. 2015 kl. 2:27
Btw is it intentional that some Frankish units don`t have any shield patterns at all?
Old School Internet Warlord 18. sep. 2015 kl. 13:40
Great mod. Thanks for the update.
Cinco Tuna 15. sep. 2015 kl. 15:01
Needs updating
Pavivier 24. aug. 2015 kl. 1:39

Zef 8. juli 2015 kl. 15:06
Update
Walbert 6. juli 2015 kl. 12:46
The Pictish axemen have this weird issue where their round shields are all screwed up. This is not in the base game.
maijiang 27. juni 2015 kl. 0:48
Update pls.
Jacob 23. juni 2015 kl. 17:20
This is a godsend. I can't believe how bland units look in Attila: this helps immensely!
Deputy Dropshot 9. juni 2015 kl. 12:50
@Thunderbolt II Hey, I'm working on making units, I was wondering if you could tell me how to put shield paint for them
Coom le Coom 24. maj 2015 kl. 8:03
It's these quality-of-life mods that restore my faith in the usability of the new direction TW thinks it's going in, truly wonderful mod, thanks.
Sebidee 16. maj 2015 kl. 1:00
Absolutely loved the name when I learned what it was. I think it's in the Attila encyclopedia.
Sebidee 16. maj 2015 kl. 0:56
Fantastic.
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 15. maj 2015 kl. 20:57
I'm still working on new content, so it's only going to get better. Same with Rome II, I made a few new patterns for it a week or so ago.
Sebidee 15. maj 2015 kl. 18:40
Yes!!!!! I loved this in Rome 2. Rated, favourited, subbed.
Toranaga † 3. maj 2015 kl. 12:15
Great Shields ! TY Thunderbolt II !
Deputy Dropshot 1. maj 2015 kl. 2:30
Dang, those are some great shields
Thunderbolt II  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2015 kl. 21:44
It would, they modify many of the same units.
Deputy Dropshot 30. apr. 2015 kl. 16:45
Would it conflict with, say, "Avetis' reskin pack"?
GamingSloth 30. apr. 2015 kl. 12:58
Great mod mate - use it for Rome II as well. @Osteantatiously - this mod is only visual and to the best of my knowledge, even on low settings the shields should still be visable :)
Öst 30. apr. 2015 kl. 10:44
Do you know if this works well or at all with lower end systems?
