Not very convienient since we can't place this like a road. It just has a static shape.

Hey @Tair, mind if I use this asset of yours in my own pack, I'm making a modular parks modpack, I did my version of your pier with free placement and different, values, I really like the asset and would to include them too if you agree, of course credits will be given.

may a suggest a smaller version modular to enable extension, curves and whatnots..
and also, placement anywhere should give more freedom...

I meant it more like every park asset that interacts with people. Although you can make assets that dont need roads,you cant make people visit them.

That's not correct. Lord Rato somehow managed to make park assets that don't need to be attached to roads. I don't know how he does it though.

During the import process. When you are previewing your model Turn it around at the angle you want it to be the icon. Click off the green plane,and thats all.

@DRen72 try the Traffic++ mod....lets those pedestrian roads(zonable) act like service roads for the garbage and delivery trucks.
@Tair...i believe if you remove the tourists from the stats menu, and remove the garbage too, you can avoid the crime and trash

Can you remove the need for a road connection? Reason I ask is that I've placed several of these along a river and connected with a pedestrian walkway (deleted the road after plopping it). Now crime and garbage is high because of the lack of road connection.

i fixed your clipping issue pretty much....i built my on asset using the waterfront park as a template.. if u use the ingame clipping tool in the asset editor and cover the whole 2x16 area with it. It fix most of the clipping and looks awesome....some spots i can see throught it, but looks way better

Just curious, are you planning on creating new pieces to extend the variation of the waterfront walkway? A section of boardwalk shops, or one with food/vendor carts would be awesome!

Very nice concept. I like this because it makes the city look more complete. Howvever... I will not subscribe to it, because you have your name plastered next to the word BOARDWALK. Makes your entire work look.. tacky and is not needed.

Yeah,ive been trying to make embedded pathways,but i get issues like NT mentioned. Sadly i cant find a workaround and trust me ive tried alot :P

It looks very nice, but is hard to place near the water. I often get the "steep terrain" warning if the road is too near at the water.
Could you maybe do a shorter version as well? That could make placement a bit easier and it would help at my round roads on my current water front.

cool mod, however if there ground is just a little bit uneven there will be concrete coming through the nice wooden floor. Using terraform mod I can't get newly created waterfront land completely even so it will look bad unless I move the walkway back, but then it doesn't make sense anymore :/ is there a way to make this asset a bit more tolerant to uneven ground?

Nice mod. I'm wondering if you could make a type of 'road' with walkway and rive bank. In this way the walkway can go along curves. I'm really looking forward to that.

Yeah the issue is salt water. As soon as they touch salt they die. Quite realistic. You can make variations as long as you add me as a contributor (Menu on right,on the item page) :)

I tossed a few in. I also made two varients which if it its something you'd like I can help produce variations with different park items. As you can see when placed on steep terrain the trees changed colors. I was curious so I tossed some cherry blossom trees to see if it could ignore that command in the game. No luck as the cherry blossom trees ended up being just twigs. Oh well http://imgur.com/a/aB84B?gallery .
