Is this mod still working after the big mod killer update of 2023?

Thanks for helping us remove more of the trashy CRAP that CO's sadistic artists force on us.

Can you update it for European Buildings?

Thanks for the response. Then I guess it is my misunderstanding of the word vanilla. Do the european buildings not fall under that category?

Notyhing changed in the updates that would break this mod.

This mod does not seem to be working anymore. Hopefully the author will update or someone else will create another mod. The amount of advertising and signs makes the city much uglier then needs be.

Compatible with 1.1.1c?

Wow, thanks for this!!

Just started getting into this game and I can't believe there aren't more complaints about those hideous, repetitive billboards!
hyperdrive_engage  [author] Apr 11, 2015 @ 9:27am
@Simify not quite, they're actually removed from the list of props for each building, so they're not spawning at all. but yes, getting a few to still appear would be a bit trickier, and I have no idea how to make new policies or whether it's possible.
Intern Waffle Apr 11, 2015 @ 9:15am
From when I requested this I believe it was made by basically making the game ignore the billboard model altogether. So they're still "spawning", they're just invisible so it doesn't matter.

That kind of removal wouldn't work with randomization or with policies. They're not actually gone from the buildings.

Excellent! It would be cool if just a very few randomly still appeared but I assume that's a whole 'nother level. Thanks!

Wow, I didn't think this was possible with one tiny mod. I haven't tried it yet but assuming from your solid reputation, this looks like incredible work!

@Neona: Are policy mods even possible yet? Regardless, great ideas there -- I hope to see more policies implemented myself.

This is really neat and useful!

I'm sure it'd be a lot harder, but a more ideal eventual implementation might be a "billboard ban" policy, so you can keep them in denser parts of town where it makes sense, but not the rest.

Of course, it's likely that the way you're doing it right now would not be compatible with that. (Not to mention that I don't think I've seen a single policy mod yet)

Awesome! Thank you so much!
