I had a city that died because traffic issues on a 5 road interchange. This would've saved it :(

Awesome thing! I highly recommend. And it's not much bigger actually than other good-working intersections, but here we get a whole new direction to build.
Needs to do a bit of lane maths, tho. 1+1 better end up in 2, not single lane, and such. But it's a minor eazy fix after placing, and the whole penta works flawlessly. Thanks a lot =)

Ah yes, Simtropolis where I detail my fumbling behind a shower curtain -- it's all in the CJ. And, yes, the PENTAGON is a lifesaver!

It's my first time as an elected official! So, I'll head over to Simtropolis -- now that the drive is unclogged -- and submit my city journal. Oh yes, Cim children are once again taking count of the passing ShroomBlaze trucks with joy.

At first my Cims demanded a more effective and professional motorway than the system I had placed. I had to admit my first foray into laying asphalt was because my designer was off to Europe consulting with M. A. Gingrich on our problem. I should have waited. In my haste I had erected two Autobahn styled roundabouts that quickly clogged and even with the addition of multiple shortcuts proved too expensive and slower than snails (sorry snails). Frustrated, I gleamed through the cluttered desk of my designer and found what he said was our best bet -- and, what he went to Europe for. I called his satphone (while in a meeting) and he screamed that I must build the PENTAGON! Could have swore M. A. G. was talking in the room.
Two problems required I upgrade the outer ramp and redirect the first ramp to empty into the outside of the upgraded ramp.
Hey! Look at 'em go! And, our budget is better too!

@Monty Use a terrain mod to flatten out an area, you may be placing it on too slopped ground

I don't know why but anywhere I try and place it I get " slope to steep" or something like that and I'm on flat land. Just not working for me.

I actuallly used this. Dispite it's size, it let me link five districts in a map thart was only half full. And it handles all the traffic I throw at it and then some.

Don't get me wrong, I love these interchanges, but I am having a problem with all these interchanges placing them on anything other than flat ground
