That's not possible to do via a mod. You can do it manually, and I remember there was a thread on Civfanatics about it quite a long while back, with textures ready to be downloaded. I'd recommend you have a look through their forums.

Sweet thank you! :)

I played around with that when it was first requested, but the AI can't really handle it (loses their units, doesn't manage to expand, etc.) - but if you want to try you can change this mod so it sprads miasma instead of removing it. Go to:

Ryika\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Miasma Begone! (v 2)\Lua

Backup MiasmaBegone.lua, then open it with a text editor. Search for:

plot:SetMiasma(false);

Change it to:
plot:SetMiasma(true);

Save the file, done.

I agree with Ryuraidon. Can you please make a version that add miasma to all land tiles?

Why is there no mod that's the opposite of this? :( I want miasma everywhere!

Could you make a mod that adds Miasma to all land tiles? I think it would be cool. It'd be like landing on a planet that has a different atmosphere.

dude your awesome they new version work so great for me now.

Is it possible to do a version where aliens then create miasma for themselves?
As otherwise this makes it much easier to kill aliens as they don't stop to heal, so only get the auto healing from Miasma. This also weakens Harmony.

I just released an update for this mod (see above). Compatibility issues should be gone now.
Zeroren Aug 8, 2015 @ 2:38am
it doesn't seem to want to work with map packs that increase the size of maps like Harkinians Map Pack I also tried another map pack and it didn't work with it either.

Works fine for me. The mod overrides FeatureGenerator.lua though, so it may be incompatible with other mods that change things at map generation.

If you're not using any other mods and still get the same problem:
What map script are you using? What Map Size? Does it crash with other map scripts?
Zeroren Aug 7, 2015 @ 4:47am
when creating a new game this mod causes the map not to generate and the game to crash just wanted to let you know.

I was wondering if there was a map or mod out there without Miasma in and now I can play a game where my units don't lose health! So thank you for the mod it is appreictaed.

I know it might have been simple but to those of us who dont have the modding tools it would be infinately difficult to do ourselves. I know what modding is like, and how sometimes the easiest modifications are the most popular, as I used to mod Rome 2.

Once I put hundreds of hours of work into a special graphics mod. It attracted a thousand subscribers and four stars and I was happy. However at the same time I made a very small easy tweak mod that took like five minutes to make which modified the rate of experience gain for generals. Ten thousand subs and five stars.

I dont completely understand it but anyway just know that your mods are appreciated by your subscribers even the simple ones.
