The "darker version" download has no dll file.
You can also tone down the effect if you like the blur in the same text file a little further down:
Everything is documented so you cannot miss:
/*-----------------------------------------------------------.
/ Chromatic Aberration settings /
'-----------------------------------------------------------*/
#define Chromatic_shift float2(2.5,-0.5) //[-100.0 to 100.0, -100.00 to 100.0] Distance (X,Y) in pixels to shift the color components.
//For a slightly blurred look try fractional values (.5) between two pixels.
#define Chromatic_strength 0.75 //Adjust the strength of the effect.
It looks very good in the single player campaign too.
Don't be shy or scared to change the values in the said file.
When you change the values in the txt file I mentioned in previous post and save it, the effect is immediately noticeable ingame, so if you alt-tab out of game, change a value in the SweetFX_Settings.txt, save it with a text editor like notepad (although I recommend notepad ++) it will be changed in game on the fly.
Alt-tabbing back in game should make screenshots here a redundant overkill. The mod is small enough even for ppl with a low bandwith. The screenshots are identical to the ones above,minus the blurred effect which is what ppl, and myself have been complaining about.
#define USE_CA 1
to this:
#define USE_CA 0
I ran this with vanilla homeworld 2 and it works fine also. Gives a nice dark mood to it if you like that sort of thing. Hope this helps.
Well i do have an MSI laptop, why would afterburner make any difference?

However, I must concur with The Doctor here. If you could get rid of the blurry effect and keep the atmospherics at the same time, this would be a great mod and a real keeper. No pun intended here.
Good work, it's a rough diamond, polish it and I am sure a lot of people will use and download it.
Worked out of the box for me so no CTD issues.
Thid distortion of those shapes makes them appear a few pixels to the side of where they actually are, meaning you often end up trying to click on ship icons to the side of where they actually are in the game, meaning you miss and have poor visual feedback.
I couldn't figure out how to get SweetFx to work, thanks for saving me the headache!
omg I didn't know SFx was 2.0 already...
I like to use Steam as my mod-manager, without having to go into my files.
But now I decided to redownload the mod and not change anything until it's installed (I think I changed a few stuff before copying to the folder) and now it works perfectly.
Thanks for the support!
That's what I wanted to change, but now I don't know if it's a feature or I did something wrong.
OpenGL games here i come!
