I am no longer updating this mod, you can always try the old editing the .mod file with notepad trick. Though considering all the changes, I am not sure it will work.

I am fully aware this is not the completely correct flag to use, however to make up for the fact that Norway can also form the union, I decided to go with it as it simply wasn't right for a Norway-Sweden union to use a flag that is 3/4 Swedish. I am really pleased with the flag as it is, as it works for both nations and has some historical accuracy behind it, so the flag unfortunately won't change.
The original plan was for the mod to grow a lot more, and as a part of it I would have made the union flag based on who formed it, however I am afraid I simply lost interest in EU4 and as such in modding for it. So at this point I am only providing necessary updates and some bug fixing, however should I regain my interest, this mod will be resumed.

Now the flag used in the mod is not historical inaccurate and was the diplmatic flag or "gös" of the union between the two kingdoms used after H.M. Karl XIV Johan died in 1844 and was adopted by the successor H.M. Oscar I. I can understand the reasoning for using the popular "sillsaladen" as the flag in the mod and you are free to have it as you like but i was thinking more of the timeframe of the game (the flag can be seen in the coronation of H.M. Karl XIV Johan painting) Otherwise a great mod and as a Swede i really do like little bit of flavor added to my campaigns as my dear fädernesland :)

I have now downloaded the new versions, but it still says DNO and SNO. The decision is called "DNO_denmark_title".

For me the country is called SNO, and on the Denmark-Norway mod it's called DNO.

Updated to 1.15... Hopefully, tell me if there is any bugs and I might look into it. Though I must be honest and say this mod is not officially supported at this time :(

Mod updated and should now be compatible with 1.10.
If the save shows up as incompatible, try loading it up anyway and saving it. It should make it compatible.
However I cannot guarantee this works with other mods.

You are right, it was in the top left of the Swedish flag, however on it's own it was the diplomatic and consular flag of the Union.

It's not the Swedish union flag. Sweden continued to use it's old flag during the time. The flag you are using was only in the top left part of the swedish flag and ONLY for trade ships. Norway however used the flag in their top left corner at all time (when they didn't use the swedish flag)

This does have a mixed set of NI's from Sweden and Norway, however if there is a demand it should be supplied :)

Well you are partly right, according to the Swedish wiki page (yes wiki :( ) The flag you show is the Swedish union flag, however a similar flag was used in Norway, but with the Norwegian flag with the 50/50 flag in the top left.
Due to that I think it would be better to use the diplomatic flag. However do go ahead and post it in the suggestions thread, it would require me to do 2 separate nations I believe, but it might be done in the future if people want it :)

But a thing is that Norway was a part of of Sweden back then, it existed but not really, the problem i have with this flag is that it is the first time ive seen it, and trust me ive seen alot of flags!, Then again do as you want maybe im wrong and i still think this mod is going to be awesome

The flag in the mod is indeed correct, you are referring to the merchang flags, which for the Norwegians were later changed to the current Norwegian flag (an event I plan to add at some point)

It's this one there are some which are norways version which is as scotlands version of union jack, remember THEY were inferior :) then again i live in Sweden and a norweigan person would argument to the other direction

Sweden-Norway used several for different reasons and such, this one is the union flag, perhaps you have found a different one? Or perhaps I have :)

Screenshot of the ideas added, it is basically just a mix up of some Swedish and Norwegian ideas, due to the nature of the nation. Being a union between the two and such :)
