No clue why but I thought about this map out of the blue recently. Turns out you can go to properties and install a pre-planet update version (0.2.something) and the map still works XD

Its likely no-one will read this or care if they do, but its a cool bit of nostalgia from a time where this game was fun

@tawnkramer Its around the 40 hour mark judging by my play time. Thats counting some more recent changes not in the current version.
tawnkramer Feb 26, 2015 @ 9:28am
Specter, just amazing work!! Can you estimate how long you've spent on this build? just curious..
TioBF Feb 26, 2015 @ 9:06am

SpecterCody  [author] Feb 25, 2015 @ 12:14pm
@The Boss I'm all for cool builds but I would agree any would fall short without structural integrity on! Its one of the best features of this game so it would be a shame to ignore it.
TheMysticalMoose Feb 25, 2015 @ 11:28am
You sir, are the first to make be feel a little bad for destroying something in M.E.
kPack Feb 25, 2015 @ 11:19am
crazy just crazy good
Volti Feb 25, 2015 @ 5:56am
Recently checked this out - I really like the design style and look forward to future updates! Crazy how stuff like this is coming out so soon; also made a short video on it http://youtu.be/BxF34fFCkJw
Saintus Feb 24, 2015 @ 9:50pm
Really incredible build. Especially the fact that we don't have multiplayer yet. I'm also glad you included structural integrity. I think it's one of the features which makes this game great, and your build amazing. My hat is off to you sir!
mron85 Feb 24, 2015 @ 12:30pm
amazing, well done
Betonfrosch Feb 24, 2015 @ 6:07am
Enjoyed it a lot! I could imagine this to be an awesome level for a Dark Souls game with all its conected layers... Looking forward to see more of your great work.
Mr. Bean Feb 24, 2015 @ 3:07am
Just spent an hour exploring this place. Good job. Lots of detail. Though i regret to inform you that i took it upon myself to destroy every stone of your castle. It was glorious.
Beats-With-BothHands Feb 23, 2015 @ 1:17pm
Nice. Stuff like this makes me hope for AI scripting and what not so we could get some NPCs that we could tell to stand guard over an area or can set friend or foe to certain players. Then useing your castle to play some kind of complex game of Murder/TTT with friends XD
Ziode Feb 22, 2015 @ 5:37pm
wow really nice job. With such detail. As more items become available, It will be cool to see where you go with this. Thank you for giving us the opertunity to walk through it.
Pepeuf Feb 22, 2015 @ 4:45pm
@SpecterCody, count on me. Dont worry for the lag. I ll keep you in touch
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 22, 2015 @ 4:36pm
@Pepeuf as long as credit is given if shared online I dont mind. Just be warned its gonna end up being laggy with so much going on.
Pepeuf Feb 22, 2015 @ 4:23pm
This castle is very good. @SpecterCody, i m actually working on a big map and i d love to integrate your castle in it. I d appreciate to have your approval.
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 22, 2015 @ 7:54am
@Burgerkrieg Hey there, nice seeing you here! The game is pretty awesome so far, I'd reccomend it!
Burgerkrieg Feb 22, 2015 @ 4:04am
Nice to see one of the ol' Voxelboxers kick ass in a new game. I'm thinking about getting this just so I can check this thing out.
Alex Feb 21, 2015 @ 9:04pm
Sweet, an update! I love this thing
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 21, 2015 @ 8:13pm
@Dr.Shadowds Thank you! And yes I would really love to see NPC as well, especially animals!
Dr.Shadowds 🐉 Feb 21, 2015 @ 8:09pm
You have done a good job, and it's seems that you can put so much more into as well, when more things becomes available for this game. If I could make a wish with the devs for both games or just for one, I wish they added NPC, then this would be a epic castle to live in or to invade. Other than that keep up the good work. :happyz:
Reclusse Feb 21, 2015 @ 7:05pm
from the snap shots this looks so bad ass
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 21, 2015 @ 6:29pm
@Timathius Yes that lag when stepping on structures definitely has to do with the stress you character adds when walking or something like that. Also I noticed having very large connected structures increases lag a lot! If you break them into smaller parts the lag reduces because the calculations become more isolated and minor.
Halyo_Noragi Feb 21, 2015 @ 5:54pm
Huh. I guess you are right.
Timathius Feb 21, 2015 @ 5:23pm
@miner if u stopped for a moment and thought, then maybe it wouldnt seem illogical, when you step on structure it loads in values for whole structure to find presssure and loads them out continuosly (idk why) (just a theory) but when you shoot it once, it calculates values for the whole thing and doesnt load them out.
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 21, 2015 @ 4:53pm
@MinerGuyLex Actually when that problem did arise a possible way to relieve the lag was to break part of the structure. Think of it like relieve some sort of built up pressure due to a physics bug.
Halyo_Noragi Feb 21, 2015 @ 4:38pm
@Timathius That seems highly illogical and nonsensical. I don't know if you are trying to troll people by making them induce a domino effect and causeing the whole thing to collapse, or if you are actually serious and the game physics are just really weird.
Timathius Feb 21, 2015 @ 3:03pm
AUTHOR THE FIX FOR LAG SPIKES ON CONTACT WITH STRUCTURE CAN BE WORKED AROUND BY SHOOTING THE STRUCTURE (worked on my map anyway)
SpecterCody  [author] Feb 21, 2015 @ 11:52am
@zachatak2k not entirely sure, try to subscribe then open up the game. In the menu theres a workshop button, click that and see if it appears on the list. You should then have the option to copy and load it.
