how to break your Co-op experience with this crap

Step 1: Meditate like you never did before (full respec)
Step 2: ????
Step 3: Enjoy your warping partner or infinte loading screens
Step 4: Magnificient My Lord

i don't know how does that break the game, but it sadly does, tried to play with my brother, everything was rather fine (we play on Lan) and then he decided to respec, we can't get a decent game with our characters anymore which means we have to start over...

I played TL2 with the patch on my brother's computer. When I got back home I tried to play TL2 back on my computer but I can't load my game. It says that I should have .66 Unofficial patch while I have .58. Game launcher says "all subscriptions up to date". Help please.

For some reason rank 15 of arc beam drops the DPS from 96% to 50% of weapon DPS. Probably an easy fix.

@Tonno95 I doubt it will crash, but certain things may conflict between the two mods.

You have wrote that is incompatible with essentials, but i'm managing to play with both activated, in the list there is this mod before the essentials.. do you think there will be problem or crashes hereafter?

@Demarki I'd say just this mod and maybe the retex mod. The only really major change from Vanilla that people might hate is the fact that Prismatic Bolts are gone. I felt they were too powerful, and prefer shockbolts to take their place as it makes more sense lore wise. That's about it though.

@Snoop Thanks for your reply! Do you think that this patch is still a must have for a new TL2 player who wants to play the game improved but without being too different from the original version? Any other mods to consider or this covers most balance/improvents to the base game?

@Demarki There are some issues with the mod that I'd like to fix but don't fully know how. For example, some items spawn in game that aren't shown in the item editor in GUTS. Which is frustrating because I want to keep a certain color scheme with all the items. I'm sure there are other issues too but I don't play TL2 too too much anymore to know what those issues might be.

@Shaikh N Bake That's to be expected. If you keep playing it will definitely be a lot harder, especially on NG+.

Yo man i feel the game is way too easy with the exponential difficulty than linear. is there a way to keep the mod but change the exponential difficulty? or does the game start getting harder cause im at level 15 on elite and im just one shotting mobs brah. thanks for the help.

@Snoop Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. I've tried googling the mac way to open console after altering the txt file, but that one (Opt+R) doesn't work either. I'm really stumped, and without getting into the console I don't know how to fix the no XP bug.

@Gigi2690 Try pressing Fn + Return. On Windows it opens by pressing Insert, so whatever function that is on Mac should open up the console.

Love the mod! The only issue I have is that I can't gain XP (stuck at a negative number). Someone mentioned a fix via enabling the consiole in the mod txt file to force a level up, but after enabling the console I can't open it in game. I'm on a Mac 10.10.4, and Opt-R doesn't work. Help please?

@mamotromico I haven't been able to solve the problem, I think it might be related to what you make your character look like when you first make one. Either make a vanilla save file and transfer to modsave, or try to make a 1111 preset character and use something like TL2 Rapid Respec to change your appearance.

Hey, I've been trying to play TL2 using this mod (and only this mod), but my game won't save any progress unless its an Outlander character. Any ideas what might be causing it?

Any possible chance you could include an update to rebalance the dual wielding and two-hander combat styles to make them more viable? As it stands right now, they're really underpowered compared to sword-n-board.

So far its great! with one tiny issue, I can't backspace my names more than one letter total in character generation. Is there a bugfix for this?

@Wolfeng If you load Dark UI over mine then you're losing all my changes to UI, which is fine cuz that doesn't affect gameplay too much. Other than that, any mod that doesn't specifically add something new will most likely conflict. So Reiners is fine, but everything else will probably mess stuff up.

To get the Evil UI to load I had to put first at the top before your mod, so I don't know If I'm going to miss on something.

It should work with ABYSM, just load it before my mod so mine overwrites any changes to Vitality, draw distance, etc.

@Hardline View of Pancakes It's pretty stable, I haven't noticed any gamebreaking bugs while playing it. If you encounter any bugs and let me know I usually have them fixed right away.

i just installed your mod, but when i try to start the game it CTDs before getting to the main menu. I disabled all other mods i had installed and just enabled your mod. Do i need to delete the other mod characters, so it wont try to load them?

@Kitty_In_Disguise Try making a character in Vanilla Torchlight, then transfer your save file from your Save folder to your Modsave folder. These can be found in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Documents\my games\runic games\Torchlight 2
By doing this, you won't be able to gain damage reduction from armor, but it's the only way to fix the save game issue.

Hey! Just wanted to say i loved this "patch", but the game isn't saving for some reason. I just exited with lvl22 Embermage, went back in, save was gone. Tried it alone (only this mod, for some compability issues), still doesn't save. Does anyone have a fix? :'(

Pannel tab disappears after i applied this mod. Can you fix it? I was using Toy Collector mod, but the issue presists after i got rid of Toy Collector mod.

It's fine already. It's a good thing that that character was just 1 play session (1-1.5 hours maybe) from when I copied him over from non-mod. I just used that file.

@Try replaying with your original mod configuration. Changing up mods mid playthrough usually tends to mess up your game, that's why I recommend starting fresh when using this mod.

Hi Snoop, just dropping by to say thank you very much! got no problem(s) with your mod and it works great! i used to play torchlight 2 a lot last year, just bought a new one from steam during the recent summer sale to revisit the game. Been browsing the workshop to beef up the game and I find your mod seems to have almost everything that i want, awesome compilation of changes/tweaks in a single bundle without straying too much from the vanilla game.. the mod title says it all! again, i wanna say thanks for the time and effort you and the modders (whose mods are credited herein) went through in making this game more enjoyable and for us gamers to enjoy more.. kudos to you guys!

Also about the outlander : this class has now devastating blinding abilities, it wasn't like that in vanilla from what I remember. With that, most bosses are made totally powerless in a few shots, which makes this class the easiest one, at least until finding a boss protected against these blinding effects...

Tested this with an outlander well at least until (and including) the desert it's much easier than in vanilla game, but maybe also more fun ! I guess with an exponential difficulty I'd need to play more to see if the difficulty stays the same later in the game... What I can say is that with all the new magical loot it's easier to be more powerful at low level now, and it remains like that for long.
Anyway very good mod, it adds a lot of things while not unbalancing the game too much, which quite impressive !

1 change not mentioned in the description is that all the items are now universal, no more item reserved for a given class.

Hey, not sure if anyone is aware but items that make vendor prices better by X%, the value actually increases the prices not decreases,... i assume thats a bug? also item requirement stats on items always have a value of "0" as in it doesnt do anything to the requirments. If you see this snoop and could look into it! Thanks!!

Not quite sure why that is. The files are in there so another mod from my list must be overwriting them, not sure what mod that would be though.
