My biggest gripe with this AK is that the muzzel smoke effects come directly from the reciver instead of the tip of the barrel. Otherwise, I like the reload animation.

Maybe. We'll see how it goes. I've been slowing down the pace on my Insurgency weapon releases after the M45's due to 1) I've now filled in every weapon (save for the autoshotguns and grenade launcher, which I can't do, and most of the CS:S weapons) with at least one Insurgency counterpart, and 2) Real life stuff.

I just tried the mod you recommended and the gun works flawlessly. Unfortunately the gun sounds like a P shooter. I'd much rather use your mod too bad it doesn't quite work right for me. Thanks for the help and suggestion.

I really don't know, it's an animation issue, and I'm not the maker of these animations; that would be Max. I really wish I could answer you with "yes", but I sincerely don't know. :/

In any case, have you tried the HyperMetal animations variant, and do the problems persist on there?

Ok ya I do use custom survivors. I subbed to all the Vocaloids 4 Dead 2 mods by ★XenoAisam★. Though I have modded every other weapon in the game and this is the 1st time I have seen this type of issue. I would like to keep this and my survivors mod, is there any chance this issue could be looked in to for a possible fix?

Could be an issue with custom survivors and the animation set being used. I wouldn't know because I don't really use custom survivors myself.

Great look and sound for the AK but... Whenever I pick this modded weapon up it puts a HUGE grey vertical bar in front of me. Also when I melee with the weapon the bar moves to the left momentarily, then returns back to the center of the screen like before. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

Gorgeous sound fx. Nice reload and overall good skin. However the entire model seems very high up, a bit like how the old SCAR model was. Could you look into lowering it? If you compare to the other weapons their model view of the gun is quite a bit lower down. 9/10

The update everyone's been waiting for: fixed the smoothing to the best I could, included a rendered image in the gallery. If you think still needs work, just give me your feedback. Also, firing sounds were made slightly louder.

For a first job, this is really quite good. Smoothing's definitely screwy (not that I can do better, getting a rigged model to look decent is totally beyond me), but it could be a lot worse.

Good luck with any future attempts.

(Also, INS's reload sounds port over perfectly well if you edit them, in case that was why you used Haus's instead.)

Mod was updated. The "flying flashlight" glitch that occured during some animations, especially melee, is fixed. In addition, new world model. Smoothing isn't fixed yet, though.

@Constable Canada: Save for the smoothing that is needed and the magical "flying flashlight" during melee, I definitely agree. I've been thinking about porting more Insurgency weapons in the future, but idk yet; I actually haven't played that much of it yet, and I don't even know half of its guns.
