Read the post below you, it will probably make you happy :)

As a heads up for anyone using this recently, the cards in the decks are so low-res they're unreadable.
Jiggy007 Aug 6, 2018 @ 7:20am
probably something went wrong.. but nothing in this game is HD
contrary: nearly all of the stuff (cards, rule reference) are blurry and totally unreadable. so everything is beyond low quality. the game isnt even playable anymore like this. (reason why its bad quality: majority of custom card deck links refer to the thumbnails, not to the original image)
(nothing against the original author of this mod, mistakes can happen)

i wonder why no one noticed this since december 2017. i doubt there will be a fix any time soon, because last update was december 2017. thats why i fixed it myself. if anyone is still interested in this, i will provide a link to the fixed version.

@Nervensaege: The link is broken but it does take you to the correct website. If you go to their home page and go to the game's new page, you will find the proper download.
Nervensaege Jan 7, 2018 @ 8:56am
The link to the rulebook seems to be broken any suggestions on that?
SaltyO Dec 27, 2017 @ 8:02am
Thank you! I was just sleeving my box of this after 2 years of procrastination. I think I'm going to get a game going soon. I posted a (rather mediciore) gimped up version of the Sailor bonus character in the WS. If you have a nicer version that would be cool.
Serenikill  [author] Dec 26, 2017 @ 11:32am
Sorry for the incredible delay but this mod should be fixed now. all the large files should persist here https://acoreyj.deviantart.com/gallery/65141900/crusoe
SaltyO Dec 8, 2017 @ 1:17pm
Broken urls are unfortunate. They need to be rehosted on cloud. Hopefully other versions work.
Crichton Nov 11, 2017 @ 10:27pm
@O10D those links work but there are 11 different deck images that are missing and the one for the board.

For the one missing from here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110643019/crusoe/iPYgFrV1zZVxF.jpg

I found this link https://u.cubeupload.com/Serenikill/iPYgFrV1zZVxF.jpg

But that still leaves 10 more missing

This is what I did. I used the dropbox below that did work to get the files and upload to Steam Cloud, right clicked and got the URLs, making note which matched with which original name. I then saved my game and opened it with notepad++ (but notepad should be fine.) Search for Invention, then scroll down a bit to the dropbox URL's. I replaced them with my Steam Cloud URL's. Search again for the next deck, scroll down, and replace again. The code must somehow split the 30 card images into the decks. The board I was able to just right click on and choose custom and point to the board I had downloaded. Not sure if my Steam Cloud is open to everyone, but yo are welcome to try my settings below.

New to TTS and just found this. Glad I'm not the only one with the issue. Awesome work so far, hope the images are fixed at some point.

Thanks.

Need re-upload : (
Soran Aug 20, 2017 @ 5:59am
some assets don't load :C
Henne Jul 27, 2017 @ 4:47am
How do I make TS load all the missing cards in the invention deck and almost all the other decks?

I dont seam to get the "costum" option where I can load the pictures manualy like I get on the playing board itself.
Apparu May 10, 2017 @ 7:50pm
Many assets seems to be missing! Could someone reupload them?
untitled36 Apr 10, 2017 @ 3:52pm
the two invention stacks

Hey All, sorry I'll try to change hosts from dropbox to something else.

I guess the problem is this: https://www.dropbox.com/help/16

It looks like the dropbox location that this mod was hosted on was either removed or went private.
Artemis Mar 28, 2017 @ 6:43pm
The main board fails to load for me.
TRwolf2k Jan 14, 2017 @ 9:57pm
Just got this game IRL, so hard but so much fun. 2nd printing with all new translations from the original polish and new resource markers.
MrJenssen Jan 5, 2017 @ 1:42pm
This was a very good adaptation of the game. Love the physical version of the game and this gave us exactly what we wanted out of a digital version. As long as you know the rules well, the setup is quick. But it's not the kind of game you can just jump right into without having played a few times before.
hof Apr 17, 2016 @ 4:38pm
Really fun game, after the initial setup. Thanks for making this.

To make your life easier, use these for setup:

Rulebook DL link comes up as a 404. Please replace.
Jirikki Feb 1, 2016 @ 8:33pm
This is cool. The game has been out of print for a couple years and is really hard to get ahold of.
October Jan 18, 2016 @ 3:04pm
Great job - this would be improved by adding snap points for the cards and tiles on the board, and maybe putting some of the starting poices out (like the morale and wearon level markers). I have a save where I have that all set up - not sure if I can just send you the save or if you'd have to update it yourselt, but it didn't take long, and is a nice little bump in usability, imo.
Marotov Jan 28, 2015 @ 10:01am
yay thanks for this fix serenkill :D
Serenikill  [author] Jan 28, 2015 @ 9:22am
Update:

Hex tiles now sit together well
Serenikill  [author] Jan 16, 2015 @ 7:58am
@Dr. Placebo Thanks, the first player tile isn't in there but you can use the banana :)

@Marotov Yea, I'm not sure what the solution for that could be unfortunately, if we have them not collide than anything you put on top of them falls through. You could shrink them (-) to make them easier to place.
Marotov Jan 15, 2015 @ 10:16pm
the hex tiles dont really sit well with each other :(
other than that, great mod.
Dr. Placebo Jan 15, 2015 @ 6:21pm
So fantastic job to all involved, it looks like it will be a great game. I do have a question though where is the "First Person" tile? I thought I saw it somewhere but now I can't remember where.
Serenikill  [author] Jan 15, 2015 @ 8:20am
@Heretic

What?

@ollj

Hopefully a dev can look into this if it is an issue, I don't seem to have it but I load the images pretty quickly. The deck manager I use outputs as progressive but could easily re-export it, anything that handles image should be able to handle progressive just fine at this point though.
Hellhammer Jan 14, 2015 @ 6:09pm
Kinda like beating a dead horse...
ollj Jan 14, 2015 @ 3:05pm
Big green download button is a "+" when its not added and a "ok" when its added.
Steam workshop just stores a "subscription" where you installed a game and steam games may auto-update these "mods/subsctiptions" automatically. (and TTS is bad at this)

---

i think i am onto something: the (now solved) issue may not be only due to hosting limits, but mostly due to TTS-limit/prblems with "progressive jpg" in combination with just slightly higher pings to wherever the image is hosted (and maybe how the host handles some ftp requests).: http://de.reddit.com/r/tabletopsimulator/comments/2sgb3y/i_noticed_an_issue_with_progressiveinterlaced/
asefmiqdad Jan 14, 2015 @ 2:57pm
Thank you ever so much. Where can I download the mod from please. Can't seem to find the download link. Thanks again.
D-ManOz Jan 14, 2015 @ 2:10pm
I have this boardgame and it is amazing! Looking forward to this hahaha!
Serenikill  [author] Jan 14, 2015 @ 8:29am
Good idea, made the change
ollj Jan 14, 2015 @ 7:40am
that fixes all loading issues.

you still need a shuffling bag for all the large "discovery coins" because the explorer can draw 2 and chose 1 of 2 to put back into the pile , keeping the other one.
Serenikill  [author] Jan 13, 2015 @ 1:57pm
Switched to dropbox for the HD deck files, this should give much better performance for those outside the US
ollj Jan 13, 2015 @ 12:42am
i made a manual in .png form, 4 pages per file for readability and easy uv-mapping. http://imgur.com/a/s5Ca2
20 pages in 6,6 mb
Burnside Jan 12, 2015 @ 4:22pm
Never played this game, but is seems interesting. Considering it shares the name of one of my favorite fictional survivor characters.

"Also feel free to upload your version with imgur assets." done but not quite ready for public
Serenikill  [author] Jan 12, 2015 @ 3:18pm
Hey ollj, please keep in mind that while I want this to work well for everyone to support this great game it's something that I did and shared for free. No reason to be rude to me (or Australians)

I wasn't aware that minus doesn't work well in central Europe. I don't think I will take the time to change over to imgur for this mod, perhaps in the future I will only host on minus when necessary. I do prefer minus as it keeps it doesn't scale images and is in general easier to work with and keep track of things.

May I recommend this great tool to download all of the files outside of tts: https://github.com/eigengrau/tts-backup/

Also feel free to upload your version with imgur assets.
Vuin Jan 12, 2015 @ 3:10pm
hey ollj, minus works well for me and i wouldn't suggest using imgur for images over 1mb, since they get compressed. For example this deck you uploaded on imgur http://imgur.com/a/cCJUW was originally a 3 mb image, and got compressed to 919 kb. That's also why it could load faster, but it affect its quality. I don't know the specifics of minus, but for images under 10 mb i'd suggest http://cubeupload.com/
ollj Jan 12, 2015 @ 3:03pm
central europe is not a castaway island as australia.

a lof od items are just wrong, some have the domain parameter " http:// ...... .jpg{blah}", some have none, your stuff is just broken and ridiculously slow.
Serenikill  [author] Jan 12, 2015 @ 2:53pm
hi @ollj, sorry you had so much trouble.

Where are you located? Perhaps minus is not good in your area, it loads as fast if not faster than imgur for me with the added benefit of not rescaling the files.

Perhaps if imgur has better cdns it may still be preferable though.
