No this won't be possible.
The game will let you start with a version change but will either crash or bug out. The problem is that every province has an ID and with every vanilla update they add and change new IDs. So old mods like this are guaranteed to collide with them.

However it is not hard to mod EUIV. Take your time and learn it, so you can fix such old mods yourself :)

If I were to update the mod, the first version anyway, would be without North and South America, this is due to the increase in players using the Random New World funtion so they are not as important. I make no guarantees right now because of the Stellaris release but I absolutely see a future for this mod.

It is not compatible with the latest version of the base game, or any other mods. Make sure it isn't running while you have other mods enabled.

hmm... the version i just got seems to have an issue with some european states start with provinces in australia in 1444 (castile, aragon, naples, amongst others). perhaps the map was coloured incorrectly?

make it the whole world, example full greenland, ccanadian islands, antarctica

yeah, okay, thanks for your time. and yeah, civ 5 modders are always updating their mods and stuff so i never had any trouble but when i went to eu4 modding house, oh boy. i think i learn how to mod so i can do it myself

Not many people are aware of that fact so we often come across that way. I'm not sure about Civ 5's modding community or how it works so maybe they are just more zealous about it.

ok, makes more sense, see, i always thought modders were lazy, didnt like it or didnt want to. but i thought it was easy, cuz civ 5 modders always update it

One of the primary reasons so many don't update their mods is because almost every EU4 update breaks it. It can become very tedious to constantly be doing it.

your welcome, cuz there isnt a lot of eu4 mods and your mod is the only one that makes the map bigger. even though eu4 is much better than civ 5, i might have to go to it cuz no one updates their mods on eu4

The issue is I really only work on modding when I'm currently into playing EU4. Unfortunatly I just haven't been feeling it. But I think that may change in the coming month.
