Hey! Quick question why doesn’t this addon show up as conflicting with “(GORE) Ultra Realistic Burned Texture https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3299529798 ”? They both seem to change burned textures, but L4D2 doesn’t mark them as incompatible. Also, does anything change if I use them together, or is it basically the same result either way? do they both work well together, or is it better to use only one of them? Just curious how the game handles both at once.

then no, those don't work with this. they utilize custom burn textures, so this is incompatible with those addons.

like the shirts and pants get the burned meat texuture but the skin doesn't

idk why but the zombies are getting burned only in the clothes texture and the skin remains intact

They should just use the default burning overlays since I’d doubt most authors would bother touching that part of the .VMT code unless they explicitly WANT to replace the texture paths for their own custom burned texture.

The code that dictates whether or not the Witch gets the burning overlay applied or not is broken.
Even then, I've seen people work around it by using the "Infected" material shader, however that also comes with the downside of incompatibility with reskins (as that requires .vmt modifications to make the Witch burn properly).

Wait, u forgot about Witch burned one. Cuz Witch doesn't have burned texture in Vanilla. By the way, that's cool for tweaking the game becomes a lot improvement
