To answer Doritos's and Terragis's comment. First The Cartographer starting weapons are the same for marines. Smgs also less appear in levels. And now to Terragis's comment. It is a more logical and realistic mod. And I want to make them explode on impact of explosion or shots. So there won't be that kind of problem.

Is there any possibility of at least reducing the damage or even size of the covenant weapon explosions? It's ridiculous even on normal watching allies kill themselves due to it since they don't recognize them as live grenades, or even just making them have a % chance to explode so it's not every single one in a large fight? I really like the campaign concept but this single mechanic just feels off like it needs some tweaking.

Shouldn't you NOT start with a Rocket Launcher at the start of The Silent Cartographer? Watched NervyDestroyer's video and it's a bit important to have a corpse with a rocket launcher up ahead instead.... although i'm pretty sure the pelicans take care of the Wraith already

Awesome! are you going by "The Flood" novel?

I did some testing in Assembly and you can stop them from exploding by removing the tick on "Destroyed by Explosions" box

With the forbidden archive leak being out there along with all the scrapped level plans being documented, it'd be really cool to see a lot of scrapped missions come to life for this.

Well I have been working on an unused level as I said. Scenery, Encounters, Decorations, Scripting is hard. I work on the mod in my free time. Might aswell start today. Say where should I add more flood. Give me specific areas. First generator is just a freebie for the player :D.

The only way that what you have right now would work is if you went into every mission and add more flood spawns in by hand for each encounter to make for some actual action. Make it feel like there is a reason to have all of those friendly allies around. You already have an entire battalion of marines with you, so flood needs to be EVERYWHERE in order to make the friendly covenant work in those last levels.

Well, I hope to see you address this sooner or later. Very excited to see that new level you are working on! Executing a prophet in H:CE, I can't wait to play it! Keep up the good work!

Yeah brother, those last missions with the friendly covenant feel really boring. I think you should go back and make all the covenant enemies again, it would be nice to have a couple friendly grunts or jackals here and there because they are so scared and weak, they would team up with marines to fight off the flood. But having 3 way battles and all of that chaos is always going to be so much better than what you have right now. I just could not bring myself to finish the levels with how boring they felt. Example, on Two betrayals I played through half the mission and fought only sentinels and when you get to halfway through the mission, you finally start fighting a handful of flood.

In Truth and Reconciliation it is NOT sargeant johnson but sargeant parker. Lore accuratelly to be honest. And I am working on something cool. You can check Sabopools discord for sneak peaks. The weapons are really explosive in my opinion but the best way to avoid it is just to take cover really far from the weapon or just be more carefull. Energy swords wont explode same with some human guns.

Well digsite made it the way it is. And putting the old physics in. It just doesnt really fit. So I cant do anything with that sorry :/.

there's a lot of easter eggs , like the teleporter in the library who send to the sniper rifle ... still don't know if there's a use for it , or johnson in 343 guilty spark , realy fun

Extreme mode or Overkill mode is gonna open a teleporter right at the small gap what you drive and jump trough. Still in the cave not the bridge part im talking about. Then enter the teleport and music starts playing. What happens next is something you wont expect. I wont spoil this stuff. These secrets are straight used from Rubys mod.

Nah you just had to restart steam just exit steam client then turn on steam again wait some time then updating starts like in 1 or 3 minutes.

Either verify game integrity. Make sure you have anti cheat off and have multiplayer dlc. Or reinstall the mod.

I like the friendly Covenant, it's a niche not a lot of mods tend to do and makes this one all the more unique. I do look forwards to the more HAVOC style encounters though!

I deleted my older comment cuz I am so dang lazy to make them non-friendly. Covenant will be friendly so the player has his own backup. Marines and friendly Covenant units will be more active in the first levels. I promise I will update the mod so it will be remade into a game with more encounters. And it will kind of be like the HAVOC mod because of it lol.

So on 343 Guilty Spark and Two Betrayals, and I'm guessing from the other comments that all of the covenant forces in the last levels are friendly? That makes zero sense and its not very fun. I have loved the rest of this campaign mash up but that decision turns me off

Didnt I make a bugfix? I fixed all the encounters why yall sending messages about it after it was fixed? Maybe cuz steam has a self-delay system. Restart steam and update works.
