I was thinking that a useful element to add to the topbar would be the trade surplus/deficit data, and that when you hover the cursor over it, the information on the value of exports and imports would appear (as shown in the world market participants column) :Intelligentsia:

BUT all the other issues are sadly not fixable because of the backend design.
This topbar is designed to be compatible with any other mod since it does not touch any part of the original GUI and that limits my interaction with the base game GUI.
The big positive of that is the fact that this mod is generally update save and should survive even major updates without patches

On the setup side I can not do anything since I can not save anything outside of the game state.

I like the effort! Really nice work on showing unemployed pops and peasant pops in the top bar too! I do have some issues with UI/UX though that prevent me from using the mod as my default:

- The buttons for adding elements (checkmark vs. red X) should be inverted, since X would imply to me that the item is OFF while a checkmark would imply that the item is checked/on

- The line between the base game top bar and this top bar is kinda ugly. It would be nicer if if worked like with the other top bar mods in that it just extends the default top bar

- It's super annoying that everything either a) disappears when you open a state view or b) you just have the numbers floating above any windows that open. I assume integrating this into the base game top bar would fix this behaviour too

- It's very annoying to set up the top bar again for every game, but I assume there is no way of saving the settings

I think the hotfix patch removed default play sets, but yes it was the play set. deleted it and added a new one.

@victim of the stairs are you using the War Support Rework mod? That one did produce this behavior if used with ETF. It was fixed so please force an update of it:

didn't seem to fix it for me, though i can tell you that it seems to blank at the end week of january, then reset at the beginning week of february

@hello_moto2901 one can easily check for percent of population that are neither peasants nor unemployed, is that what you need? Don't think the game has an actual trigger for pop's having qualifications.
@Bahmut or you can use limit is_pop_type = laborers/shopkeepers/academics/etc (with OR) inside every_scope_pop with add = total_size, dividing by total_population next (in script values)

I play in fullscreen, and when I start a game, the top bar doesn't appear. Switching to windowed mode resolves the issue. However, I like to play in fullscreen, and it's a bit tedious having to change the display settings every time I open the game

P.S.: I've already tried resubscribing

I think there is a small problem. Top bar is not visible. However, it appears when you check the option you just added and open a page.

In Spanish, the topbar can't be configured because it can't be scrolled down. I'm afraid the same thing might happen in languages ​​other than English.

I only tested it in Spanish and English
