Ripper MD and Verstarkt, that's a gsc thing. it's hardcoded 100 meters, what i mean with the disclaimer at start is that i cannot change the render or other a-life features within sdk yet, the render in the tier comparison is the PLANNED distance for if/when this feature is available, it is one of the reasons i made the tiers. they will be updated as soon as we can change render

I'm also only getting spawns at about 100 meters. I'll set a marker on where an enemy is, scope in to see them and back up. They disappear every time at around 100 meters.

Did I miss something or why I just get spawns only at around 100 meter? It should be around 350 with gold right?

Krowka, no sorry not for now, perhaps in future again, the deer is quite unbalanced at times and i cannot properly control the smaller mutants it spawns, i will look more into it later when i do a substantial overhaul for my alife mods after 5.5.4

ChowderFlapjack, yes it appears i forgot to add that in the changelog, will do so now but for others reading or wondering about it: Most user requests i got on Gold, Complete and my Expanded Inventory mod was to mark the traders so players wouldn't start talking to every single npc to find the one trader. Since this mod and the complete version on nexus have that mod integrated into it, this means this mod WILL show the trader icons too on the pda map :)

Drunkensteinn, that is the planned render is we ever get it, thats what each version will instantly get without a doubt, its like a precaution in the sense of: "do know i am planning x distance for render" as it is something i used to decide the versions and what separates them

Doh, silly me I really thought it was your mod with the T button faction identifier. Mind I’m over 50 years old so I blame my age,,, ha-ha
I’m running a fair few mods all work fine now, well apart from OXA that is, but he’s going to update it asap as he’s a bit busy with real life at the mo.
I was running OXA standard & will do again after oxidex8 sorts it out yet again after the games been patched. I’ve got over 500hrs on my first stalker 2 play though since the game first came out. Then I will try his Prototype version.

Just happy people like yourself & him are modding this great game of ours.
Myself & many others are looking forward to any updates that you see fit to do, plus fixing mods after the Devs update the game.
It looks like every update they do somehow breaks a lot of mods. Just happy they are updating the game & modders are patching their mods so fast.

Sibaru swift, the T function is related to OXA faction identifier, not related to my mods :( i think this issue is caused by version 1.6 of the game and oxa not being properly updated? however im not sure so i will reach out to Oxide to see what's up :)
Also the e key issue should be fixed in upcoming update for this mod :) it is already available in the standalone "Npc Interactions" (renamed AI & A-Life enhancement" mod) but that mod is included in this one when i update this mod :)

Need this & OXA to get stalker 2 feeling more of a top game..

ps when pressing E key I cannot to every NPC in game :(

Subaru Swift, The easiest way is to just subscribe through steam and let steam do the rest for that i would adviseGold. if you want manual then thats from nexus and its called Complete :)

Thanks for the reply, I feel like your mod is very needed for a few reasons, & when OXA - Oxide's expanded Armory standard is updated the game will be great again.

However, Pressing T key now does not tell me what Faction people are.

Also, what is the best or newest way to download your mods please? Gold is the best for me.

Subaru Swift, it's a personal choice, you might like vanilla a-life by now or you might not, i can safely say that there have been no a-life changes in vanilla in this update tho :)

not sure if this a base game or mod bug, but have you seen enemies and friendly npcs spawning in each other and not being able to move? I am guessing its how A life works in stalker 2 with npcs getting stuck after spawning around the players radius

GamePat, It's a slightly tamer gold but most of the other logic remains the same, the difference is mostly in gold spawning npc a bit faster and also being a bit different in max squad sizes and when you unlock certain things from the progressive alife unlocks. they both have same mutant and npc variation, just some slight changes to other things that complete also has making the experience in long run between 2 versions different :)
AdMelorio, yes, but i am giving a heads up that it will most likely not work as intended when 1.6 releases.

Do you know how the complete edition differs in comparison to gold? Because you wrote that it is under gold but above silver, though it isn't in the comparison picture here as it's only on nexus, and there's no listing over there about it ether. Really like the way all the changes are listed in one picture :)

yeah so before sircaa there is about 9 variations in alife, after it it ramps up and at end there are about 23 so this explains the overabundance of 1 type that will gradually calm down as more new types get added into the pool :)

Love this mod, the only problem i have is that dogs and rats spawn insanly often in the lesser zone. Havent tested it in other regions yet. I had one of your nexus versions before, and it didnt feel that insane😅

I wonder if this is a bug, or some change that was made because of the gold edition? I played for like 2h and had 5-6 dog armys and 3-4 rat spawns come at me. At one point there was a PseudoDog that spawned in front of me, while i was running from the dogs, trying to reload next to a sidequest😂

While it can be a lot of fun, i think there are just to many dogs and rats, and not enough Bandits or so. At least that way i could get some ammo back, that i lost because of all the dogs ;)

Idk how you or others fell about this, seems im the only one that ways too keen on it. Maybe i shoudl look into the Complete Edition, which sadly isnt in the workshop it seems. Because i dont was to lose the PseudoDog that isnt in the silver version.

Damn! :( its funny because the better A-life is makes it so much more obvious and bad watching groups of NPC's just pop into existence. I figure the performance hit must be absurd for them to keep the 100m as it is.

KaptaynAmeryka, No, each living zone is its own mod, the order from most frequent spawn/heaviest adjustments goes in descending order:
- Gold
- Complete
- Silver
- Modular
- Bronze

How much will this affect my performance? I love the concept of the increased spawn radius the most but i don't want my game to chug along. Is this save game friendly or do i need to start a new game?

Coin, no problem man! also remember the harder mutants that are new are also LOCKED UNTIL QUEST PROGRESS this means you won't see all in the first few hours of playing :) it will gradually expand.

sort of, a-life spawn speed mainly refers to the interval between your in render NPC spawns, think about those mutants you see moving past you in the distance when exploring open world. bronze makes them appear 35% faster up to 60% faster compared to vanilla on gold ( so more then twice as many appear in render compared to vanilla)

you don'y have to unsub. i think it overwrites and if it doesn't well the a-life enhancements mod is same files as in the gold so no problems there either :D

Seems very dope, especially the extended mutant spawns (thanks for not putting Chimeras out at the beginning of the game).

May I ask though, what exactly is "A-Life spawn speed"? Is it like, the rate that new Stalkers are spawned when the population is down or something? Also I'm assuming I have to unsub from your AI-Life enhancements mod to get this, right?

Wetekatwitch, You mean an a-life mod in general? since "A-Life Uh... Found A Way" modifies same files as i do only this or that can run, it's a personal thing if u want an a-life mod or keep it vanilla right now.
The gold max npc limit is mostly in hubs and even then it does not change the performance all that much, it's like a little breathing room that allows the game to have more dynamic changing number of max npc in your render :)
Yes the nexusmod for Roaming Professions-Expanded Trade Inventory is already included in this mod to enhance the experience.

i'm afraid this is a vanilla bug that is happening on rare occassions since release due to reputation and weird savegame stuff, does it happen really often? i can make a version for you that disables mercs, but i'm not sure how this will affect scripted events

uh so does this mod add random hostile merc spawns that gets ignored by regular npcs? had a weird occurance near cordon with 4 spawning and all npc jsut ignored them even when being shot by the mercs

SesameVI, i will be paying attention to any mention of burers causing gameplay problems across all platforms and if needed reduce their spawn chances in an update this weekend.
