@TheLost - XD
TheLost Jul 29 @ 1:55pm
one suggestion for tomb world, it looks like the planet was set to be destroyed as if to make way for some sort of inter galactic construction project then just abandoned
csrr  [author] Jul 23 @ 12:01pm
@MartianLeo - This mod has no custom interactions, but I believe the base game has some custom interactions for 'oh, these are other humans'.
csrr  [author] Jul 23 @ 12:00pm
@EJR - thank you for the offer, but I actually already finished that part. I thought I removed that from the description.
csrr  [author] Jul 23 @ 11:58am
@Athena - right now, the base game doesn't have the support for that. I only added UNE by hard-coding (and that is a LOT of work. Fortunately, in the case of the UNE, I could just copy it from stock XD )
MartianLeo Jul 23 @ 8:16am
is there any interactions with Earth if another empire, say the UNE is there?
EJR Jul 22 @ 7:58am
"This is still somewhat unfinished- Earth doesn’t have a custom archeology chain yet, just an anomaly, and I’d like to add a couple different variations to the story of how Earth perished."
Are you up for idea suggestions? Cause an idea I can think of is Lavos-like scenario from Chrono Trigger
Athena Jul 19 @ 12:13pm
Possible to have one faction start on alpha centauri and another on sol? Say if I have two premade empires and one has the sol starting system and another alpha centauri? they'd be one system apart but it'd be fun to have diverse human factions in a small area.
csrr  [author] Jul 9 @ 3:43pm
@Ha_konZ - it does not, so far as I've managed to test it. There may be some wierd edge cases, though.
Ha_konZ Jul 8 @ 9:04pm
Did this mod overwrite or conflict with your Improved Mars mod ?
csrr  [author] Jul 6 @ 6:12am
@Nathaniel Herapen the Third - Thank you! I'm honestly surprised no one made a similar mod before.
It's funny how this never crossed my mind before. Of course our first stop would be Alpha Centauri System. Thank you for this!
youtubitz Jun 24 @ 2:15pm
oh, as it turns out my game lags at the start of every new month and takes a lot longer to load in and start a new game so i'm going to not play for a while anyway, unfortunate.
csrr  [author] Jun 23 @ 11:44am
@youtubitz - unfortunately, the technical limits of the game prevent that from happening. Every non-player empire has to be either manually coded in - something which takes quite a bit of time to do- or randomly generated.
youtubitz Jun 21 @ 8:27pm
Now if You might add custom Empire's in Sol and alpha centaurie you would make my day, if it is not beyond what you want to do with this.
csrr  [author] Jun 20 @ 12:31pm
Made a major update, including a fix for the 'remnants' origin.
Red Skull Jun 19 @ 11:47am
Take all the time you need
csrr  [author] Jun 19 @ 11:37am
And yes, I'm still working on an update. Some parts are taking longer than I expected they would to write, and Real Life is interfering.
csrr  [author] Jun 19 @ 9:26am
@TotallyAccurate - 2200 by who's calendar, though? XD
There's a very old sci-fi trope of 'this actually happened millions of years ago', and that particular start plays on that trope.
Zaire82 Jun 18 @ 2:28pm
@hydra Doing code on Paradox games is hard even if you know coding beforehand. The syntax is weird and the tools aren't good. I've made attempts but nothing went well. I find it amazing how many people make mods for these games.
Red Skull Jun 18 @ 12:47pm
@Big [REDACTED] Marty True i wish i could mod without having to learn anything or do code hahaha
TotallyAccurate Jun 18 @ 11:26am
Is there any explanation for the pre-Cretaceous Earth being in the year 2200? Just curious how you'd explain that 143.1-million-year developmental lag
Big [REDACTED] Marty Jun 17 @ 4:07pm
@hydra closest to that currently in game would be the federation starts, you just disband the faction day 1, and go from there

but a cluster of Human empires in nearby systems would be really fun for theme'd playthroughs

might be stretching the scope of this mod though
Red Skull Jun 17 @ 12:10pm
Just to clarify this mod cant be used to spawn an empire in alpha centauri for a sol play through

Or can i create an empire using the Centauri start and then play as an empire with Sol start?

Maybe a suggestion for the future that would be pretty cool to do, Ive always wanted to have colonies around Sol already there ready to be conquered
csrr  [author] Jun 17 @ 7:53am
@Big [REDACTED] Marty - it uses it's own version of the Sol system, but most locations still have the stock Sol flags, so it MIGHT create conflicts?
Big [REDACTED] Marty Jun 16 @ 5:29pm
does this mod conflict with mods that make changes to the Sol system, or does it use it's own version of the Sol system
csrr  [author] Jun 16 @ 2:35pm
@FluffyBoi_Aeris - thank you!
csrr  [author] Jun 16 @ 2:35pm
@ Tophat, A Dumb Furry - thank you for informing me. I'll try to fix it!
Tophat, A Dumb Furry Jun 15 @ 9:13pm
Found a little bug.
Remnants origin will not spawn you on a relic world in any of the system versions (Earth will become a relic world specifically with space faring system type.)

I hope you fix this soon, it is my favorite origin type. Anyways, keep up the good work :3
Aeris_Things Jun 15 @ 1:21pm
This, now this is beautiful.

I can't wait to see what's in store
csrr  [author] Jun 15 @ 8:16am
@Pietas- Thank you! I noticed that myself, but I'm in the middle of coding a major update (making the anomalies issued by an on_game_start event rather than by the system initaliser, enabling a more complex Sol system) so I can't fix it just yet. Sorry!
csrr  [author] Jun 15 @ 8:13am
@Lazy Author - Thank you for informing me about the bug. I'll look into it, but I don't intend to merge any mods right now. I like the granularity, since it prevents the mods from getting too large in scope, and it enables the end user to pick and choose what elements they want.
csrr  [author] Jun 15 @ 8:08am
@paulo - Yes, but then everyone would want a custom name set, and I've got big enough fish to fry as is. XD
paulo Jun 15 @ 6:14am
Hehehehehe! You could have used the chance of publishing this mod to name your planets in homage to the worlds and moons in Starfield's Alpha Centauri system.
paulo Jun 15 @ 6:08am
Thanks for publishing this mod!
Lazy Author Jun 14 @ 8:05pm
Hello, seeing how your improved mars mod and this mod have a little bit of conflict. I think that having the improved mars, Venus mod and this mod merged into one would be a good idea
Pietas Jun 14 @ 12:36pm
Really cool content, especially with how it branches based on portraits.

Hate to be a bother, but I think you dropped an unmodified vanilla file (anomalies/02_anomaly_categories.txt) in the mod by accident, that could cause trouble with future updates.
Vietnam Jun 14 @ 1:50am
its arleady in the mod
Vietnam Jun 14 @ 1:50am
yes
Lotl Jun 13 @ 8:13pm
can we get one where proxima is the start?
The_Illusive_Man22 Jun 13 @ 7:16am
If you can make the worlds of Alpha Centaury named Vekta and Helghan, you will have a point
Wayjourner Jun 13 @ 6:36am
Awesome mod. As a suggestion, would it be possible if we could get a version without the custom Sol content - it would be for so we can force spawn our own custom empires there or if we just want to start in Aphla Centauri with a random Sol situation?
Irving Jun 12 @ 3:04pm
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for something like this.
youtubitz Jun 12 @ 12:57am
Take as much time as you need of course but the Ability to spawn both a custom sol and Alpha Centaurie empire would be awesome if you feel like it's something that you want to do
csrr  [author] Jun 11 @ 10:39am
I've got a lot of other mods (as well as finishing the 'dead earth' archeology options for this one) I'm trying to work on/update at the moment, but I'll add it to the list of ideas.
Sedmeister Jun 10 @ 11:55pm
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I was thinking of a custom Sol based Empire, not the default UNE.

Can I be really cheeky? Feel like doing one for Sirius?
csrr  [author] Jun 10 @ 2:19pm
@Vietnam - I managed to get your request as well!
csrr  [author] Jun 10 @ 1:56pm
@Sedmeister - you have your wish! Just be aware that the UNE, even without any buffs, is aggressive in expansion. You've got your work cut out for you.
csrr  [author] Jun 10 @ 12:46pm
@Sedmeister - I'll see what I can do!
@Vietnam - That might be a little trickier, but I'll try.
Sedmeister Jun 10 @ 5:27am
Any chance there can be another option? If love to start as humans on Alpha Centauri whilst being able to force spawn another human nation in Sol. So Alpha Centauri can be a competing human nation.
