No sadly, and that's not a npc. That's just a player on the special seat I made for this vehicle, where they stand and hang on next to the side doors.

Yeah, I believe Glide is one the most easiest bases to make a vehicle for. If you're making a simple car, and have proper models ready, then the most you'd have to do is to just edit some values, kinda like working with a weapon base in your case.

There's a GitHub aswell that you can look at and see all the values that you can change and most of them have comments for you to understand what changing those values do.

So far the only tedious part for me is having to semi-guess all the seat, light sprites and wheel positions.

And as a lil' question, how tedious is working with a vehicle base like this? Is the base streamlined enough for a fairly informed guy like me to pick it up? My only experience with lua bases is weapon bases like ArcCW and ARC9, i've been dev-ing for them (my stuff is still private for now cause they're far from finished)

But yeah, having a shared content mod where common/recurring sounds and vtf files, vmt's aren't impacting cause they are just text but you should keep them since if it is a similar texture, you could keep it in shared to avoid duplicates/conflicts with your own addons using similarly named assets (im pretty sure most metallic objects in COD use same envmaps everywhere, so that is one you could add in shared, but again i haven't used greyhound or worked with cod assets so i wouldn't know)

It could be quite smart actually. Also this wouldn't be an issue for me at all, i have a public sandbox server filled with filesize intensive content and i still get a faithful playerbase, simply because i listen to their demands.

I think he meant to keep shared textures packed all in one to save on resources and avoid excess filesize caused by duplicates?
