About modding, I think you might find some tutorials on Reddit, the fandom wiki or here at Steam. Most things are not that hard to mod, only takes patience.

Nice. I'm tempted to spend the time to learn to mod the game, in want of creating my owns starts and stuff, and I've opened FCS a few times with that in mind and it's always ended with me saying, "ok well nothing worked and it took a few hours" and then giving up. Hmmm.

I'll se if I release a second mod for that, but the textures do work on the armor. :)

custom holy samurai helmet

i have an idea of a gas mask fused with these helmets since is a third empire themed armour

hi the helmets are a bit bugged (the back of the helmet act like clothing)

Iron hat and armored hood are also worn by the uc samurais often for example. The holy armor and crab armor sets would be very nice too.

Hell yeah I was just looking for something like that. Be cool if you made similarly styled retextures for other "high end" armors.

@Le pp baguette De wewe you're right on that. It's not like someone can decide who's the true Third Empire in any way. Specially given the fact that, in some way or another, the Second Empire is still up and Cat-Lon still lives.

And yes. Craft only for now. But if you have any sugestions on that, feel free to leave them here. I might not have the time now to make NPCs or something like that, but I can take a look at it soon.

Even if the UC are a real empire in legislation, Nothing says the player cannot be a pretender. Like the Third Rome

(As a history nerd, I have to- The Holy Roman Empire elected emperors. There's nothing saying that there can't be competing Empires though. The Holy Roman Empire and The Byzantine Empire both claimed to be the successors of the Roman Empire irl)

@SirMaou6 I'm not sure right now, but I think I made the Midnight sets a little bit more crossbow friendly (less penalties for perception). The Gold variant is a little bit better than the Silver one, also. Try seeing if crafting a Masterwork version helps (if you can do so).

it's hard to find a Samurai archer armor, my melee guys Looks awesome now but my crossbowmen needs a bit of more Gold.

@Goatedguy3000 You could argue that; the United Cities is very expansive and calls themselves an empire. I don't consider them the Third Empire for 2 main reasons, tho: most of the continent is free from their rule while there are two major factions opposing them, being the Holy Nation and the Shek. Also, the emperor is elected from the circle of nobles, which doesn't really sounds as an empire. But since there's no official statement on that, I guess it's up to the player...

Yoo, these are amazing! Love how you can use the various colours of the same armor across your forces with more elite variants issued towards higher ranking soldiers for example. Endless roleplaying potential. And the fact that they have the same stats as vanilla... chef's kiss.

@Hypersticcboi The research should available once you reach Tech Level 3; you'll find it under "Smithing: Third Empire".

Soooo where does one get the research for this? I can't find it anywhere.
