I really wish there was a version that just had the mechanics like literacy and laws, would make it more compatible with other mods :(
I just played it again after a long time, in this gameplay I played as Aragon and when I had tech 6-5-7 - pretty same as most of western countries - Muscowy had tech 3-3-5, ottomans 4-3-7, mamluks 8-8-8.. It's a huge difference, does Russian region have something that increases the tech cost or something? Btw I played it with some Expanded mods and some graphics mods - is laws tab removed or its about some mod I have on?

Can AI use these new mechanics?
Neier Lamperouge Jul 24 @ 8:20am
Why are two provinces in Sicily deserts? that doesn't make sense they should have the drylands terrain
Arthurtye Jul 9 @ 8:23am
Put names in the provinces, they are like this example "PROV000"

Whenever I send my troops to Caen in Normandy, the troops go to the middle of Mediterranean near Sardinia. Im playing with Europa Expanded, that might have something to do with it.
Banan Jun 21 @ 12:03pm
Nevermind, "Religions and Cultures Expanded" is simply broken for me so it's not Vera Terra's fault.
Banan Jun 21 @ 9:58am
The newest addition of the "Expanded Mod Family" (Religions and Cultures Expanded) does not work with this mod. It creates a lot of errors. Just bringing attention to it as it is stated that this mod "should be compatible with ant mod from the europa expanded familiy". I don't have an issue with this. It's just a warning for those who wish to play with the aformentioned mods toghether.
LeafyGreenCarl Jun 10 @ 9:03am
Do you want to be contacted about bugs btw? I have found a couple of minor ones, nothing too crazy.

to remove the negativity! I really like the map! and the game play generally. I'm playing with europa expanded as you say its compatible and having a blast.
LeafyGreenCarl Jun 10 @ 8:16am
Randomly found a bug with the province cape ray (after renaming it, can't remember original name) the water crossings are floating halfway up in greenland for some reason. very odd.
✞Anton✞ Jun 10 @ 2:24am
Unfortunately, i can confirm that this mod appears to be incompatible with the Stellaris UI Font mod, the Laws tab doesn't show up
superplasticman May 8 @ 6:14pm
makes the AI swap Laws by time automatically. Its too weak without changes. Espectially the Army Model and Mil. Leader. And maybe slightly rise the tax contribute to army size. Its a bit too low in army size after 1480-1600 period. The minor power like papal state and have 70% of army size compare to major power in most of my games. But overall its a very good mod. I am having huge fun in it.
Lord Eddard Stark May 6 @ 3:35pm
Thank you its much better
azguzine  [author] May 6 @ 8:25am
@Lord Eddard Stark yeah I'll add Albert VI as the ruler of styria because him being "co-ruler" with Frederick III is impossible to make in game
Maybe you could add cores on those provinces that empires lose due to succession and some modifier that can help you reclaim them (reduce AE, increase army or similar) or just dont lose territories so easy, it was difficult enough taking them ,reducing autonomy and coring
Lord Eddard Stark May 5 @ 8:47am
There's a problem with Styria and Austria, there are two Frederick IIIs. Is there any way of correcting this? I know that the political situation concerning these two states of the Holy Roman Empire was complex and difficult to replicate in the game.
Awesome, thanks! I've played Mongolia, conquered Manchus and half of Oirats, got Beijing, then ruler died and I split into countless states, first I didnt know what happened, then reloaded and died again after few years and found out what it is :denton:
btw extended formables seems compatible, while "change your country name" - won't change names some countries
There is also a province in Manchuria, I cant rembemer the name, that when you click to move it sends you to Japan for some reason, I think it was around Haixi - or...it's because I am playing along Europa E.
azguzine  [author] May 4 @ 11:04am
@Војвода Рачић I'll make it so that you can change the succession law as a horde and don't need to reform to a monarchy, I think that would be more balanced
Any chance to post only the map (provinces), without the new mechanic? Succession made me rage quit while playing hordes
EmeraldPhoenix May 3 @ 5:15pm
If you'd be willing, I think it'd be really cool to make the laws part a standalone mod, it's a nice addition.
cyanocitta cristata May 3 @ 1:50pm
I love the hudson bay being larger in the past because of post glacial rebound! The attention to detail is insane.
I dont think Jews were majority in all of these provinces in the Eastern Europe. They were invited to Poland after the expulsion by the Western Europeans, they settled in the Eastern Europe but they were minority, they were in Judensburg as well (Austria), even the city has their name after them and they were in Venice, in Thessaloniki and also around Switss mountains as well but they were minority.

It's nice to see these new cultures on the map, especially Caucasian and Tatar, it would be great to add Aramaic culture, Assyrians, Copts, Gagauz culture in Bulgaria and Moldova, Nestorian and Malankara Christians, Armenian Apostolic Church separated from Coptic one, Yazidis, Orthodox Christians in the Middle East etc
Nice to see all of these new provinces and cultures! For such a big mod it's normal to have some mistakes:
-Albanians MAJORITY in province of kosovo in 1444?
Of course - NO. They came much later when the Serbs migrated north.
The expulsion of Serbs from kosovo by the Turks in the late 17th century led to large-scale Albanian migration into the region, with many settling in abandoned areas"

-Stjepan Kosaca of Herzegovina should be Serbian and Orthodox since Stjepan was literally crowned in Serbian Orthodox Church under the name of "Herzeg of Saint Sava" (st Sava was the first Serbian archbishop) and Serbian Orthodox churches were all over central and southern Bosnia, while there is not one one "bogumil" church at this time, except their Castle in Visoki. Even wikipedia has a full list of bishops of Dabar-Bosnia at that time, and all of them were bishops of Serbian Orthodox Church
FuntimeByzantium Apr 28 @ 6:12am
@azguzine Thanks! I'll be watching your mod closely. It has great potential!
azguzine  [author] Apr 28 @ 5:59am
@FuntimeByzantium only for some cultures, and in the places with new provinces
DUCATISLO Apr 27 @ 12:45pm
gg
SduuUwU Apr 27 @ 8:49am
There is desert provinces in Italy as far as i discovered
FuntimeByzantium Apr 27 @ 8:12am
Does this mod include dynamic province names for different cultures?
Sturmgewehr Apr 27 @ 3:47am
Great mod, I liked it, but please review the map of the Baltics, Kurland and Semigallian looks too flattened and very small, it's even comical. Good luck in development!
azguzine  [author] Apr 26 @ 11:21pm
@Raccoon Lawyer I havent tested the compatibility yet, but it probably is compatible
azguzine  [author] Apr 26 @ 11:19pm
@Mindfr3k24 There are some cappadocian greeks and also greeks in coastal aegean provinces, but its debatable if antalya had majority greek population and inland mountainous areas were already populated by turks at the time. Speaking of the Christians in the middle east, yes there sure need to be chrisitians in some parts of lebanon, so I'm gonna change that in the next patch.
Shroomie Apr 26 @ 3:23pm
Is it compatible with europa expanded?
Mindfr3k24 Apr 26 @ 9:33am
Shouldn't there be more Anatolian Greeks and Armenians? As well as, the various Christian minorities in the Middle East?
Skeleex Apr 25 @ 9:18pm
@Војвода Рачић The map is probably based on the mercator projection, which has those inconsistencies in order to show the world on a flat map.
Azure Moonlight Apr 24 @ 7:09pm
Thats cool you got it fast! However, I'm sad to say I noticed another bug, if you haven't noticed it yourself yet. The laws are also resetting when loading saves- however they'll have both highlighted blue, and its at least possible to click the right law and correct it without spending more stability.
azguzine  [author] Apr 24 @ 1:21pm
Its fixed now
azguzine  [author] Apr 24 @ 1:02pm
@Azure Moonlight interesting, i dont know what could have caused that, im gonna look into that
Azure Moonlight Apr 24 @ 10:45am
Playing multiplayer with a friend, we ended up saving and coming back to it- literacy reset to 0
buyBread Apr 24 @ 9:06am
Nobility? Not really, but the people remained pagan way into the 1500s, even 1600s in some places. That's sort of why the the reformation didn't really pick up any steam in Lithuania, since they were more or less recent converts that still practiced pagan traditions.
Irrelevant_Coin Apr 24 @ 8:51am
Was Samogitia really still pagan in 1444?
Clark Crente Apr 23 @ 12:31pm
Hi, I absolutely love the new map and especially the dedicated attention for the Lithuania! Like the comment below the armies seem to big. I also loved the laws' system but there are some suggestions I would make if you don't mind. I researched a lot for my latest mod and could contribute.

Once again, great mod and hope you can keep growing it!
Endovelicus Apr 23 @ 10:21am
The armies are too big in my opinion, i think the force limit and manpower from dev would be a lot more small and the same time the cost to maintain a army to be more expensive to balance
