Would be cool if you could be forced into an oath as a prisoner if you are captured by the AI. Could be combined with Oathbound to War to create a way of ending up as a Mamluk.

I think something you could add would be for the Oathholder to be able to land the Oathbound. Like how Adventurers can petition to be landed/join a war for titles in the conquered land, but with less restrictions on it. You could make a Court Position similar to Bodyguard for Oathbound vassals, if I were to set this up, I would make the landed Oathbound into either a Tributary subject or a March vassal (I have little experience with Clan so I don't know what their version of the March is).

So its now 1.16.1, and there is no physical way to change back to 1.16.0.1(as far as i can tell, ive looked everywhere) Any chance your gonna update?

Sorry, I'm not willing to do any translations at all because even if I used chatgpt, I could never verify what was in it.

That being said, if a native speaker or another language wants to translate the mod themselves and host the translation file on the workshop, I can teach them how to do it.

I reinstalled this mod right now and i can't call my oathbound to war. I press the button "oathbound_call_ally ineraction" and then i see inactive button "oathbound_call_ally_interaction" with description: "no target selected". I don't know how should i select any target. Maybee i do something wrong. Please, help!

Just to make this clear, it is actually important that you do NOT use the 1.15.0 compatch if using an older version of CK3, just delete the compatch as I have no idea what that will do given my changes to the core functionality. (I have deleted the compatch from the workshop.)

I have updated & re-written Oathbound's logic, there is now no longer any need for the 1.15.0 compatch.

Oathbound is now fully compatible with everything and no longer requires any kind of compatch, ever. No original files or functions are edited now and all scripts are custom.

To achieve this, the logic has been tweaked slightly. After swearing an Oath, it no longer creates an 'official' alliance between the two parties. Instead, when an Oathholder goes to war, their Oathbound will be dragged into the war with them, instead of being called in as you usually would using the character interaction.

For the player, your Oathbound won't be dragged into war, instead, you have a new character interaction, specifically for your Oathbound which will allow you to call them into war.

This was a fairly intensive re-write, so please do let me know if you notice any bugs, I'll be playing a fair bit today so if I come across any, I'll update as I go.

Seems to cause a hard-crash especially during black death
Just have multiple hundred times the "Error: Event target link 'var' returned an unset scope" line at the same time.
From how I understand it the entire AI world basically spams the interaction out of nowhere.

I have not played with it yet, BUT this sounds AWESOME. I love the inspiration for it being "The Last Kingdom". I also recently finished that series with my girlfriend. It was my second watch, her first.
I can't wait to try this in CK3 Vanilla and AGOT. Just awesome. :steamthumbsup:
