just something of note (idk if it can be fixed) the mc rugby has long sleeves and a 24th sts patch which im not sure if its on purpose or not

on further testing its specifically when I enable the CAG Expanded base mod- that is when the audio changes.

my brother I need you to fix whatever you did. I'm not sure whats going on, but ive been testing my game and mods to get to the root of a sound issue with Ares. It seems this mod changed the suppressed weapon sounds for Ares to the Insurgency Sandstorm sounds. And I have to be completely honest, I hate it. Tested it the game with only Ares loaded- original sounds. Loaded CAG Expanded plus toolbox- Sandstorm SFX. If you could undo/fix this it would be greatly appreciated, this has me wanting to not even touch Ares and its literally the best mod.

@Narcotics Yeah i think they made a update and change the helmet textures.
Otherwise great mod, love how we can customise the team so deeply.

@Icotineau It should be? I haven't touched that helmet since the mod was created. Unless Ares: Additional Units made some changes, it should still be there.

@— Yeah, it uses Task Force Toro’s suppressed 416 sound now. Ares uses the same sound for all the suppressed 556 rifles (M4 sound) so I wanted to diversify it a bit. If you have any sounds from another mod in mind I’m willing to check it out

Did the updates to the CAG Expanded collection change the 416 Suppressed sounds? Sounds less punchy with the mods enabled.

If you have an invisible head, you'll need to select a face from the trooper body slot. This latest update allows you to change the face of your operators.

I suggest adding a "Empty" camo option to the normal camouflage slot, currently if there's a normal camo equipped alongside the trooper toolbox clothes it causes clipping issues without any way to remove it.

@PVT. James Parts DG3A must've slipped by me when reformatting the textures, will get that added soon.

@Gruffy Unfortunately the way Trooper Toolbox needs to utilize split models, I won't be able to use any of the cut sleeve stuff from Ares. Bummer, I know. I can see about the flannels from MARSOC, but iirc Briz has his own split models with MARSOC so it may have some visual bugs when combined with the models used in this. Most likely small stuff that you won't be able to see outside of dev mode first person, but still. Can look into it.

Is it possible to add the AC combat shirt from the Ares files (the one with the cut sleeves) and also more colors for the flannel (plaid shirt)? You can ask permission from the Marsoc dev for the flannel ones :)

Using the regular Ares armor sounds like the best option. I will miss those stupid lvl 3/4 side plates with no front or back though...

@DUCKBOY. Sounds like a load order issue - try deactivating and reactivating this mod and see if it remedies it.

@Cardoon I was going to initially but didn't really feel like over complicating the plate set up - alternatively, I could just empty out the Trooper Body slot and reintegrate the normal Ares armor if that would be preferable. Either way, it's something I could look into.

I really like the mod and the freedom it allows me with customization, great job with it! One issue I ran into however is that while there are no options for pistol grade side protection on vests. For example, w/o Trooper Toolbox there exists vests which have Lvl 3 or 4 plates in the front, with the option of lvl 3/4 OR pistol protection on the sides. I know 70% of vanilla enemies shop at AKs-R-Us, but I do miss that bit of freedom. If it's not too much trouble for you, can this be amended?

recently activated this but when i access the squad, the customization options don't appear. The box for it from trooper toolbox are there but they are completely empty.

This is pretty good. However, the images for the plate carriers overrides the ones in Ares already, so I can't always tell whether my 75th Rangers have Lvl 3 or 4 plates equipped.

more cosmetics would be nice maybe for people who also want to play law enforment units think of Police FBI Marshall or swat vests,if there are also gas masks now in the toolbox could cag expanded then also get gas grenades or gas launchers?

@CharkNoRisk(N)_CharkFuRisk(Y) Will fix that when I get home, thanks for the report! As for the helmet, I should also be able to do that, may even add ComTacs only option if the model looks fine w no helmet/hat
and would you mind add one more head option so we can select no hat/helmet? Then we sure look likes random weirdo nomad on the hill.
There seems to be a texture missing for cyre jpc ranger green, it turn rainbow now.

@mnp like Narcotics said, CAG did used AOR1. But I get that it's more fitting for DEVGRU more than CAG

@Dron As in AOR1 vests? No, I won't be. There is already AOR1 G3s though, don't know if you missed those.

@mnp No, they did use AOR1 in the GWOT - the digi camos predated AOR1 iirc and were also more of a SEAL thing
