@♫ Tadpole ♫ It's like you initially thought, my mod works alongside his mod, or any other AI traffic pack you could find. The supported AI pack basically just has features from my mod implemented into them; it doesn't restrict you from using others.

I imagine it's probably not doing to be the case, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask: does this mod work alongside Top Tier Studios' ATS Company AI Traffic Skins? I don't mind if its truck additions don't follow this mod's rules, but I'm worried either mod would completely overwrite the other.

@Squiggly you can install any traffiic pack you want, trucks and buses will not even know this mod exists, so no conflict.

I understand there is no Add-On for JazzyCat's Trucks (& painted) & Buses. If I install and use those that don't have a compatiblity add-on would it cause problems?

The mod has been urgently updated to be compatible with both ATS v1.56 and v1.57. There are still lots of thing that need to be updated, plus addressing issues that have been reported during the time I was away. I will release continuous updates for the next few days to patch these ASAP before heading back to update the main content.

Hi, I'm aware of all the update request here. Unfortunately, I have been away due to my college training program and wasn't able to maintain the mod, but I should be back at least around late October and continue this. Thanks for all the support again :steamhappy:

@wunder99 The method to implement the license plate expansion is complicated and time consuming to update, so I won't separate it into a different mod. It's purpose is to act as one of the feature of the mod only, which the game significantly lack when it come to portray US license plate variety.

@Trash, I don't play ETS2, but there is already a similar one created by Egon, which is available on SCS Forum. It doesn't feature some stuff like foreign plate or car spec like my mod (as there is already another mod that has done this), but the rest is the same.

Would it be possible to release the licence plate expansion and vehicle specs improvement as separate mods? I find the first two key features in this mod particularly annoying (I'm a fan of very diverse traffic), while I've been missing the two features mentioned above.

No, this mod does not require any additional mods.

The add-ons exist to provide compatibiity if you do use one of those car packs, but they are not required if you do not have the car pack.

agree with the previous commenter, it REALLY too often spawns. im sure i saw it very rarely before and now ive seen three of them in one lane and at the next intersection three more in one frame. it was in Iowa too, so maybe state problem idk. anyway fix please, its annoying

If it helps, I can also verify that trailers are spawning on cars very frequently. The plain white one and the small white boat tend to repeat a lot. Minor things, and thanks for this mod!

First - Great mod. Love the variety on roads.

BUT...the pickup truck with the flashing lights spawns WAY too often. You can see a dozen of them pass by on the highway while sitting at a single weigh station...talking less than 3 minutes here. Strongly recommend taking a look at that. This was in Iowa, in case that helps, along I-80.

All in all, though...really great. Makes the traffic much more believable.

The Ram 3500 would not be affected by this mod at all. It will use whatever spawn rates it sets itself.

@yougoodmygood Tesla is very common in California in my mod, but not everywhere in the states, only around LA and urban zone. 80s chevy vans is already extremely rare in any states, I can't lower it down further except disable it completely.

I have some question. Since I use this mod, I noticed there is too many same car in the traffic like 2010 Mustang Convertible and Mustang 6th gen, Dodge Charger(striped one) is this the problem of basic game? or is this intended by mod? AI traffic mod that I use is RTD. other vehicle variety look fine for me.

It depends on how the mod works. If it REPLACES base game vehicles, then it might interact with this mod. Make sure USCC loads above it.
If it ADDS new vehicles, then the mod will be unaffected.

Does this mod also effect service vehicles? I have a mod that adds local police department skins and another one for garbage trucks, would this mess with them?

Are traffic speeds affected by the mod? It seems like the traffic is always slower then the speed limit.

As you can read in the reply changelog or on the SCS forum, the RTD editions are replaced with a single RTD addon and you now use the normal packs.

Where did Jazzycat's AI Traffic (RTD Edition) and Jazzycat's Classic Car (RTD Edition) go? No use for them anymore? I use Real Traffic Density - Cip.

@shimsham29 Can you extract my mod files on your side and check if the trailer spawn rate is only 0.2 maximum (they are inside <country> folder)? I applied the same spawn rate fix for them like the Ford SUV trailer, so if it works for this trailer, it should work for others as well.

It's interesting you did the same thing here as you did for the Ford SUV but it isn't having the same effect as it did there. I've only seen the Ford SUV trailer once in I'd guess an hour of testing since you were able to adjust that.

Definitely don't make trying to adjust this a priority if you're short on time or have more important things in your life to do with your time. I'd feel pretty bad if you were spending time you don't really have right now on this instead of other things. I do hope you can eventually find a solution since seeing a lot of trailers is a bit of an immersion breaker yet it doesn't actually break the game nor the amazing mod so no rush on that.

Did a test after the latest change and unfortunately, trailers still seem to be spawning at a pretty high clip. Unsubscribed and resubscribed both USCC and the Jazzycat add-on, and using RTD with its compatibility patch.

It took 13 real minutes of driving around Missouri on a mix of different roads for me to reach 30 counted trailers. Most of those were also still that Jazzycat concrete pump trailer I mentioned before, though none of the Ford SUV being towed after you worked on reducing that so that's a great positive. The one I saw the most after the concrete pump was the vanilla traffic UTV one.

I did another 20 minute or so run after that which took me from Nebraska into Iowa and it seemed to be a bit better (don't think I reached 30 trailers but wasn't counting that time to confirm) yet still too many but also more variety and not mainly the concrete pump.
