I was the one who the devs replied to saying this is way out of date don't know how to tag you in conversation or even how to find it i rarely use discord

Removing it did help, but again just to be clear, it happens with a lot of mods when the game (or your system, or both) can't handle all these mods together (or over a long period of time). I've removed a lot of mods this week on this laptop.

The invisible artifact issue can happen with a lot of different mods. Current theory is that having too many mods for CK3 and/or your system can break down the game and it'll get rid of artifacts first. Mods that aren't updated to current version can also increase this.

As for this mod, I've seen at least one LoV dev say it needs to be updated to reflect some changes with LoV, but at the very least it does still let you like hatch dragons and things.

I'm also having the issue as I write this and I'm going to be seeing if removing this one helps my case. I'm using a worst laptop rn but still just some info for you. I also would like to keep Dragon Eggs, it has a lot of really important rules and additions for my usual playthroughs.

I use both with all the other mods in my playlist and I don't run into any issues. Maybe they're bad downloads?

I have experienced the same issue as the person below, for me, none of the artifacts at all are showing up, I hadn't figured out it was this mod until right now, I've been thinking it was TLN this whole time. Please update! Both More Dragon Eggs and LOV are essential mods for me

For the past couple hours I have been testing my mod-list, enabling and disabling, trying different variations, with and without LoV.

I even enabled only AGOT More Dragon Eggs only, without this com-patch to test, and same issue persisted.

I didn't want to upload on both this mod and your main mod, AGOT More Dragon Eggs. So I will just upload it here. Since I mostly, if not only, play with LoV.

Strangely, it seems that is the main issue is caused by your main mod, AGOT More Dragon Eggs, even with the compatch enabled. The issues is, for some of the Valyrian Steel weapons, the icons are not showing, as well as the weapon model not loading on the player character, it just looks like a plain sword.

FYI, my mod-list worked completely fine for months, had no issues, despite multiple updates from the mod authors and some patches before 1.17 (CK3 Update). My mod-list is available publicly as a collection on my profile if you need to check.

it's probably my fault. it says that the file descriptor is missing. I've reinstalled it several times.

what people need to do is make a patch so the legacy of valyria mod work with the more bookmark mods

@Shakazulu6969 - Oh, it's no problem at all! Chaos ensued essentially overnight for the LoV team so a lot of the submods related to it had a heck of a time getting back to rights

@Amun-Ra Yea I apologize for that there was an error when I was copying over from the folder I edited it in to the folder I published it from and I was genuinely unaware that those files were still staying in there. That’s my fault for not seeing that I’m really sorry about that. It should be fixed now

@Shakazulu6969 - I mean, that comment was nearly a month old as well and it was certainly still there when I made it. I don't use the mod or Compatch and the only reason I noticed was because I get bug reports of colonization activities still appearing in the LoV ticket system which lead me to checking into the files a month ago

@Shakazulu6969 I just downloaded the mod for the first time. It is still there.

@Shazzer I did delete that already you have an old version

@shakazulu6969 You should delete the zz_valyria_settle_ruins activity folder. It relies on old code that is no longer used by LoV and causes buggs.

@shakazulu6969 - would you be so kind as to update this mod to remove all of the content that was purged a month ago? Your mod still contains much of the old colonization activity code which is leading to people reporting bugs with a system that no longer exists in the mod

@Shakazulu6969 I noticed someone on Discord was having the same issue as me where they got a suggested load order that I tried out myself and it did work! Current load-order is: COW:AGOT, AGOT More Dragon Eggs, Legacy of Valyria, AGOT More Dragon Eggs - Legacy of Valyria Compatch, Official COW:AGOT Legacy of Valyria Compatch

Ok, I realise why my game kept crashing, it was because I was using the Mods More Dragon Eggs, Legacy of Valyria AND the COW:AGOT mods. (Yes LoV has compatches for both more Dragon Eggs and COW:AGOT but for some reason the game crashes when all three are mixed even when they work fine combined with their respective compatches). It appears until a compatch mixing all three comes out I'll need to stick to either More Dragon Eggs with either COW:AGOT or LoV.

Does this compatch still work? As every time I've tried playing with LoV, More Dragons, and this compatch mod, the game crashes. even though I followed the load order instructions... so am I missing something?

Does this change the valyria colonization to no longer do faith or prestige versions?

@Kayotik16 main thing was it was preventing the hatching of multiple dragons. But there are other things that don’t work and things that I intend to add in the future that will conflict as well. I also had some tweaks I wanted to make to LoV. Cheaper colonization game rule is one thing that will add

@shakazulu6969 can i ask why this mod is needed ive been using you mod from day 1 with legacy of valtria with no problems and i have over 80 mods i'm just wondering

@Lumo I’m trying my best to mitigate it but because everything is game rule related it depends on what the game wants to set new game rules to on old starts. However I have some things like updated criteria for naming dragons that should work no matter what.

@Melkorian Check in the folder to make sure you have version 2. But this compatch only changes one file and works for me perfectly so some other mod must be doing that.
