Hello. So i got a problem to activate that mod at the beginning. It says, the dependencies are \bandits and \BanditsWeekOne. The Problem is, i have only found \Bandits2 on Steam and not the normal \bandits-Mod. So i cant use your Mod. Is that a mistake because Bandits2 is the newer and updated Version of Bandits ?

did the mod change on the start of a new play through? i havent played in a while, and im starting everytime in some kind of party completely messed up(intoxicated) even in the police station

I'll throw in an idea for a new mod.
The player can tame one zombie.
The zombie follows the player (for example, on a leash, like a cow) and pushes other zombies away from the player.
Your Zombie can be used as a carrier of things.

this mod has become super unstable recently. multiple crashes, stutters, bodies flying around the map, soldiers going mad and bandits spawning on day one, freezing and black screens even though the game is still running normally, but i cant see anything.
Why can’t I enable it in the mod? All the prerequisites are installed.

i love week one and bayond but this god damn bayond just fucked the whole night i played the game. i turned the nukes off late in the week and suddenly it turns itself on again so i got bombed.
first time i didnt had this problem but wanted to make a new save because my entire neighborhood was bombed and it was laggy af

RaspberryRock shared how to disable the plane crash & I'm going to post it here.

The TLDR is you go to the drive you have Steam installed.
(ABCDEF:) Drive > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 108600

This is your installed mods folder. Now you need the workshop ID of the mod you want.
In this case, it's 3403180543 for Week One. So that's the folder you go to, then the pathing is:

3403180543 > mods > BanditsWeekOne > 42 > media > lua > client

You will want to open the file "BWOScheduler.lua" with either notepad / notepad++

Search for the phrase (CTRL+F) "PlaneCrashSequence" and it'll take you to line 206. Once you're there, at the beginning of that line add --
It should look like " --tab[133][56] = {"PlaneCrashSequence", {}}" then save.

I get WHY Slayer wants to keep it in. Honestly? I genuinely LOVE it. It adds to the story and as a loot goblin, his mod challenges me. Though I do believe that there should be an option to disable the plane crash and here's why:

It always crashes my game (in some form). I've literally tried ALL of the tricks across the modding communities on how to avoid this and keep the crash going because when you get to actually experience the crash, it's amazing. But the crashes are ruining my fun so I want to turn off the plane crash.

wow just saw the mod author may have deleted most discussions in the forum. Its gone along with the discussion on allowing the player SOME choice on the "nuke player position after X times" and the post on how to delete the plane crash event. which i did. and the mod is 100 times better.

welding doesnt seem to level up and there appears to be no way to gain welding exp gain unless you have at least one skill point already.

@warcrime Johnny look in discussion. someone has shows how to disable the plane crash. have to delete a little line in the file but its real easy.

having the plane and bombs attack the player is a punishment for playing the mod. Read the mod author in a discussion and responded but in short:
the author wanted the plane crash and strikes on the player a way to prevent hoarding and having an OP start when the zombies hit.

in reality it punished the player for playing their mod and the mechanic to stop players from building a massive loot base are already built in.

the bandits and loots get real bad so staying in a loot base and hoarding is a real bad idea although i still think if you are way out in the country you should be relatively safe. the penalty is already built in on how far everything is.

as soon as a lot of zombies appear, my game crashes within 5 minutes if i am in a city. I guess them (or survivors) beeing killed offscreen causes it.

So I have a suggestion, I would like if the plane crash event and bombing can be configurable to the player. It feels a little silly to have planes strafing and bombing you in and around your home, regardless of it's location and if there are even zombies around. Along with that, the fact that regardless of where you are, the plane crashes on you is a bit silly. Just having the ability to turn off these events and or adjust them would be nice

any chance you can add a toggle for turning off the light flickering during the last few days? It keeps bugging out and permanently breaking the overhead lights almost every play through. Btw, it doesn't shut off the actual power, its just the lights

@Scar how entitled can you be to tell someone to remove a mod they worked on FOR FREE ON THEIR OWN TIME or to hand it over to others just because you are too lazy/incompetent to read simple instructions and add a number to a .txt file. Pathetic.

See everyone is still talking about how this mod doesn't work anymore with the new bandits 2! I have a discussion to make it work, but please note that this will cause some errors to pop up while you play (I am not in the mood to go through bandits vs bandits 2 to find all the changes). My discussion leads you to the exact file you need to open and the text line you need to change/copy and paste. Hope the original modder returns soon!

i would love to use this mod but i cant with it being incompatable and sorry i know you put a thing explaning how to get it to work im not a modder and i dont want to go thought the effort of doing it myself can you please just fix the mod so us normaly people with zero experience in modding can enjoy it if not just remove the mod or pass it down to someone thats willing to do it

Downloaded the mod and it's dependencies, but they aren't even showing up in my mod manager. Is anyone else also dealing with this?
